No, we can't.
The office has permanently been diminished, if our next 10 Presidents are brilliant world changers who bring lasting world peace and harmony...we will still have to remember that to the highest office in the world, we elected a true caricature of a person larger than life in every possible negative way.
I'm more worried about Congress in the long run than the president. Congress can always impeach a President if he is an idiot. Right now we have a Congress that puts party over country every time. The only quality of Trump's I would like the next president to have is to speak more bluntly (but with more grace than our current idiot). Also, perhaps be more decisive too on world matters since we send so much money to other countries.
With North Korea, I think the President should just tweet: "North Korea....If you attack any of our allies with whether nuclear or not, we will obliterate you. If you try to nuke the US, we will shoot down your missile and, again, obliterate you. If you transfer a nuke to another country. Again, total obliteration."
We can then remove our troops from South Korea. WE don't have to have talks with China and Russia. We can just leave North Korea be. That's how it should be. If they would have threatened a missile attack instead of sanctions, we may have had a chance before they got their nukes.

Because North Korea policy has been great so far? Basically, I'm just saying let's stay out of their business until they make it our business. It is the same position you would have wanted to take with Iraq in 2002. I just say it in a blunt way to make sure there are no misunderstandings.

Can we stop those missiles now? I'm not sure.
Not sure we would have to nuke NK at that point. Just take out their leadership and nuclear facilities.

There's not good answer in NK without the help of the Chinese, but recalling troops is the last thing to do...followed closely by announcing our strategy via Twitter.0 -
World police = keeping troops around the world ready to strike when non-US territories are attacked. Sounds like you liberals are for it after all based on comments about being nearby to protect SK, Japan, etc....

No, usually the liberals are the ones who don't want to be world police, so I'm just surprised by the sudden military support. I'm just saying our tactics for it should be simpler. We built an arsenal that should be the biggest deterrent out there to prevent NK from attacking. We'll just have to back up our tough talk if they do something.

North Korea won't attack anybody. It is simply how Kim Jong-un stays in power and how dictators around the globe stay in power.
Even he knows the moment attacks he is dead.
This sabre rattling is amuses me. What doesn't amuse me is the Orange in power who may do something stupid.

I watched this. Tough to do. An awful moment for the animal, but the steaks and burgers I eat have their roots in an awful moment for some animal.
People weren't killing the animal for shits and giggles though like the long list of affluent trophy hunters we've seen throughout various social media sites. Does killing a cow with stones and your bare hands make you less barbaric than some rich prick shooting a lion with a high powered rifle so he can take a selfie, mount a head on his wall and have cocktail parties where he can tell his shit friends the story of his brave encounter?

In a libertarian Utopia I should be able to kill an animal any way I see fit.
