    This is surreal.  Our country has gone off the deep end since November ‘16.  Anger and disgust needs to turn into action of the masses in order to pressure congress and Trump to DO something on gun control or GET OUT.  Citizen activism like we haven’t seen since the Vietnam days needs to be the driving force for change for good.  We cannot tolerate one more single life lost, period. 

    One of the things I love most about Pearl Jam’s music is the meaningful statement so many of their songs make about what’s going on in the world.  They have always had something to fucking SAY and I cannot imagine a more critical time than right now.  Over and over, I turn to my favorite songs to fire me up, inspire me, pick me up, help me see things a different way, etc.  And isn’t that what art is for?  To help us find that common source of inspiration, the shared human experience, the glimmer of hope?

    Didn't the Supreme court already turn down the case?   I am in the most gerrymandered district in the country.  it was ridiculous how the PA maps were drawn by the Republicans.  this new map at least put its back more closely by County.

    They turned down the request for a stay of the state high court order.  My guess is because it's a state issue only.  You would think it would be over, but we all know Trump thinks deeply and consults experts before tweeting, so maybe not.

    20 years ago, this would never had flown the way it does now.  We didn't have the ability to get our news from echo chambers.  We didn't have a news network that absolutely refused to say anything negative about a President or an entire party to an audience of nearly half that country that never had to be exposed to other ideas.

    He's destroying our country.  Fox News is culpable.  One day, the GOP and the right-wing media will be recognized as the treasonous participants they are.  Unfortunately, by that time it will be too late.  I hope they enjoy their tax cuts.

    From day 1 of his career, industry insiders have slammed everything he's done as a poor man's interpretation of luxury, offered at true luxury price for the rubes who want to pretend they are far above their actual financial level.
    And it worked.  The average American ate it up and then 2016 happened and I lost all faith in this country.  Pathetic.
    If things don't go insanely well in the 2018 midterm elections I may have to go full recluse and leave the world to go crazy around me while I plant my maters and peppers.
