The words Trump used are telling. "They want everything to be done for them," he tweeted. "They"? You mean the millions of American citizens in Puerto Rico? And the not-so-subtle suggestion of laziness in Trump's tweets is just more of the same racially coded language that the President has trafficked in since the day he announced his campaign.
Yet he says coded things like "they" from ultra wealthy country club while she may have to Wade through waist deep sewage water. Empathy my friend have some and the bad optics of saying such things from his bully pit. He appears to be unable to take ANY criticism at all.

President Trump must really get pumped up after church on Sundays. He seems to really cover a lot of issues on Sunday morning. Latest tweet folks......
I told Rex Tillerson, our wonderful Secretary of State, that he is wasting his time trying to negotiate with Little Rocket Man. Save your energy Rex, we'll do what has to be done!
Ingrates? Politically motivated ingrates? Me thinks some juicy news from the Mueller investigation is forthcoming as the Donald always goes on a twit storm just before another dot is connected or another lie is exposed. Enjoy the meatloaf while you can Donny.
^^^ Sure. I think that if you're white you can call others that. Kind of like being black and being able to use the n word to call others that. It's racist for a person who is not white to call whites crackers is how I feel. Even though President Trump has crossed some lines in your opinion there is a line that shouldn't be crossed when it comes to using some adjectives to describe a human being.
Can anyone explain why exactly I should be offended if someone calls me a cracker. I don't get mad because it's offensive, I get mad because I deserve to be called so much worse. There's a whole world of language out there, surely there's something funnier and more hurtful than cracker.
Reading through the etymology of the term, I would have zero problem with this term being used to describe Trump. It seems like an apt definition of him.
I’d also never begin to equate a word with origins like cracker with a word with origins like the n-word.
Finally, PJFan, you seem to be very concerned when Trump or his actions are criticized - yet you take the time to regularly remind liberals how they shouldn’t be so insulted so easily. Which is the right way to be, oh hypocritical Propagandist-in-Chief Jr?

Cracker is still nuanced with racist origins. I don't get concerned when the actions of President Trump are criticized I just feel that as a propagandist I have to see both sides. Why do people that are not white call white people crackers?

I've never heard the term "cracker" as a slight on whites before today. I'm a big bread and cracker fan myself (in fact, all my little goofy books are printed under the moniker "A Ryebread Production") so if anyone calls be a "cracker", I'm good with that.
And if someone says to me, "Buddy, you're crackers", well, duh!!
“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
Cracker is surely racist, it's an epithet for a particular race, but it doesn't offend me in the least. I also don't think that it's use is always meant to be offensive.
I always thought that "cracker" was funny. I guess if I knew it's origins and history, maybe I could view it otherwise. But I doubt it. Not a whole lot of "oppressed white people at the hands of non-white people" stories in the history books.
Meanwhile didn't know this about Donald "Keebler" Trump until today:
"The Trump administration has indeed cut the budget for publicizing 2018
Obamacare open enrollment by more than 90 percent, and did indeed cut
the open enrollment period in half – from three months in 2017 to six
weeks in 2018."

Yes it is not always spoken to be offensive. I believe in the begining it was a term used to identify those who cracked the whip. They were then called cracker and most if not all were white.

If the shooter were of darker skin, surely the president would've spent the whole morning irrationally tweeting about being tough on terrorism and the need for his ban, right?
Crazy 64 year old white guy? Silence....except for one tweet that his chief of staff probably forced him to type.

It was a very spineless tweet at that. Condolences, sympathy and god bless you. He made it sound so normal, but yet he's outraged with Puerto Rico and the fake news coverage. Such a fucked up stance on priorities. How about 10 tweets about the insanity of gun violence and a need for review of our current laws and ownership guidelines.
Instead his lack of comment only empowers his base and the mindless supporters of out of date 2nd amendment arguments. Fucking NRA and lobbyists are loving how he's already downplayed it in to just another "shooting". This is the one time where he could use his "worst" or "biggest" adjectives with accuracy. #Fucktard

I would agree if the shooter opposite than what it appears to be he would've been ALL twit on world. Hes a spineless propellerless drone.

Calling the President a cracker is disgusting. It really is. Michael Che totally meant for it to be used as a slur. He should be fired. Trump is not the ideal leader but a racial slur? C'mon man...

Like I said, imagine if a person who was not black said that same bit using the n word? There would be hell to pay.
President Trump should not be called a cracker on SNL.

Being nice to Rocket Man hasn't worked in 25 years, why would it work now? Clinton failed, Bush failed, and Obama failed. I won't fail.
