The president is learning that other countries have a lot of people too:

"You know, a lot of people say — they say, well, but the United States is large. And then you call places like Malaysia, Indonesia, and you say, you know, how many people do you have? And it's pretty amazing how many people they have."

And we were in awe for years with W's statements... he looks like a brain surgeon comparatively.

I just can't imagine what other leaders think when ours asks a question like "how many people do you have there?"

Its nice that we have a sitting US president who is just now brushing up on his 7th grade geography.  Way to go voters.  At least we can pretend coal miners will get jobs back

You guys see the article that says Kelly and Mattis made a pact not to leave the country at the same time so one can always be around to keep tabs on Big Boy president?

We have an immature 70 year child who needs a babysitter as president.

I'm still flabbergasted morons voted for this guy after his McCain comment. Given it came from a silver spoon fed candy ass who has never been at risk for even a moment in his life and by itself... maybe it could have been overlooked; however, coupled with mocking a disabled man, degrading women with his 'locker room talk', getting peed on by Russian prostitutes and a slew of other ridiculous moments should have been enough for even the reddest of necks to balk at marking Trump's box with the same mark they use as their signature.

I like people who weren't captured.

Yup. That should have been enough.

I want to see Trump in a boxing match. I want his opponent to be Obama.

With his little hands... those grains of sand would feel like pebbles.

I'm going to do what he says. I'm going to 'call one of those places and say, you know, like ask how many people they have'. I betcha my mind will just get amazed.

Remember when Trump proudly retweeted the right leaning outliner Rasmussen poll that had him at 50% a month ago?

He is at 42% in the same one today. Odd that he hasn't mentioned it...no?

Big Boy president is not going to like this latest Rasmussen poll.........down to 39%. I guess Rasmussen is fake news now?

    http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/trump_administration/prez_track_jul31
It is sinking even further. Down to 38% today which is lower than Rasmussen, again a right leaning poll, ever had at Obama at any point in his entire two terms

    fake polls!

But at least sane, so there's that. And could speak with others without being massively embarrassing, even if we didn't like the orientation. And in retrospect his tendency towards secrecy in communication seems almost a good thing when compared to Trump.

Oh god - I can't believe I'm defending Harper here...

 No, but really. I can't stand Harper, but he isn't even close to comparable to Trump in any way, shape, or form. At all. No past POTUS or Canadian PM come anywhere close either .... The only people I can really think of who might be comparable to Trump in any way at all are Kim Jong Un and Rodrigo Duterte. They are the only other current national leaders who actually seem insane. Trump makes three.
