My only reason for bringing up the golf, it's a microcosm for honorable, gentlemanly behavior, the 1st thing anyone should look for in a President of the United States. Golf should be the one place where he's brutally honest, and he isn't. He's not honest or even remotely trustworthy about anything. I used to play 3 or four rounds a week flirted with a 10 handicap, and now I hardly ever play or practice, and I am truthful about how I score myself. I can guarantee you Trumpito NEVER practices, races through his rounds like there's KFC at the 19th hole, and according to reports is liberal with replaying shots he doesn't like, and improving his lie. I doubt that he even enjoys himself.
Screw his tax returns, I want to see his scorecards.
^^^ This is what Americans want now? His scorecards? I don't see how anyone cares how he plays golf. I certainly don't anyway. That would be a nothingburger of a story if that issue makes its rounds on msm.

Would you care if he cheated at Chess? Do you think he even knows how to play Chess?
I've said it before and I'll say it again: trump opponents need to start focusing on what really matters. when people feign outrage over these silly little things like driving golf carts on greens, it waters down the message and the important stuff gets lost in the mix.
Focus people!
What really matters? It's all in one's perspective and/or priorities, no?
you can't impeach a sitting president for being an egotistical idiot.
I don't believe I ever claimed that anyone could impeach a sitting president for being an egotistical idiot. Colluding with a foreign power to influence an election, money laundering, tax evasion and obstruction of justice, now we're talking impeachment. Some people take their golf seriously, very seriously.

No one is feigning outrage over golf carts.
my small self... like a book amongst the many on a shelf

I see a whole lot of talk about it. here and elsewhere.
I agree that some of criticism directed towards him is a wasteful distraction, such as the hair and the hands and the orange skin and how his suits fit and shit like that. The golf cart thing has a tiny more substance just because it reflects on his general attitude, and people always pick up on stuff like that (although I also agree that if it's at his own golf course then it means nothing). All these little things about his actual behaviour culminate into something quite meaningful at the end of the day, because it is a constant reminder of the POTUS's rancid personality, his inability to lead, to consider others, to consider his own actions compared to others, and often his mental stability. So that's kind of a big deal and probably should remain a topic of conversation (and there are more important things still in the same kind of context but more important - things like him getting a folder with only good things about him in it twice a day, and him giving a political speech to the Boy Scouts, etc etc - that has very sinister connotations, and I don't see it just as a joke at all). The problem is that the media, and therefore many people, often fail to ALSO address a lot of other things.

Around here, it's just good fun at Trump's expense.... hopefully.
things like that just shine light into his character.... which most people suspect is shit. It isn't a big deal... but one puzzle piece, with many form the portrait.

Yes, I think it's safe to assume that everyone posting here is aware of what Trump and his administration is up to. It's nice to break from all the bad news and have a laugh at Trump and his cults expense.
A distraction is a heck of a lot difference than outrage.
And honestly, why shouldn't people make fun of it here?
I said feigning outrage.
go ahead and make fun all you want. I'm just saying it muddies what's important.
I agree with you... on a newscast or important public forum. This would qualify and neither. There's only two Trump supporters left and neither are eligible to vote in the US.

Exactly. Put all of these little things together, and you've got yourself a fucking massive scary disaster.

I would also argue and say that anti-Obama folks focused on nothing but nonsense. Shit that wasn't even factual, and it worked in their favor.
I think a president who has severe character/personality flaws IS a pretty big issue in of itself. Never mind the anti-intellectualism or lack of respect for the position and decorum.
I pay close attention to the issues as well. I'm not falling asleep at some wheel, forgetting to vote every chance.
