You all seem to forget that the historian-in-chief is the most historically correct historian in the history of histories ever

He just read wrong, you can tell he can hardly see the teleprompter cause he always squints, and he says the wrong word all the time and then says the right word or just keeps going because who really cares. His words are the most glorious words and will outweigh any other words no matter how nonsensical.
Steve MIller is his speech writer - he is not gonna sabotage Trump - he has his ear the most.
I love that #TrumpParadeFail is trending. What a dangerous idiot.
Ya know, he could have written the stupid thing himself - I mean this was all about honoring him and he did go to the best schools, so why have a speech writer? Never know.Post edited by njnancy on0 -
I had to dig deep in a few books I read back in college but I finally found it. I think this is when GW took over Newark airport. I almost wrote my senior thesis on these series of battles but passed on it for something World War 2 related.I'll ride the wave where it takes me......0 -
This is a photograph of the battle that raged outside the airport:

And then of course the very famous surrender:
I'll ride the wave where it takes me......0 -
I've avoided this place all day. I got just a couple of things to say. The first is I HATED IT.That was one hell of an 8th grade Social Studies oral presentation you gave there Sparky. Top notch. "I love the poorly educated..."He was getting himself quite ramped up there spittin out one misguided cliche after another about WAR. About the Air Force raining death. So much winning.
If there's one thing Spurs McKenzie shouldn't be talking about is BRAVE SOLDIERS. He's the WORST.
I woulda preferred a freestyle on Crooked Hillary, Bernie, Crazy Nancy, Jim Acosta, anybody. It actually would have felt safer.

Nobody noticed from the speech that he also thinks Alexander Graham Bell was American?Post edited by PJ_Soul onWith all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0

“Our quest for greatness unleashed a culture of discovery that led Thomas Edison to imagine his lightbulb, Alexander Graham Bell to create the telephone, the Wright Brothers to look to the sky and see the next great frontier,” Trump said Thursday.
If this quote is accurate from the speech, Trump never said he was a US CitizenYes, Bell lived in Brantford, Ontario (and died in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia) but he showcased his telephone invention at the first World’s Fair in Philadelphia – the Centennial International Exhibition of 1876 – had the invention patented in the U.S., but did not become an America citizen until 1882.
I have never read that he was a Canadian citizen, he was living in Canada as a British Subject.
He's an interesting read. He seemed to do work in both countries.
After that is Trumps quote, then I see it more as him promoting the free market economy that helped these inventions along.
I cannot believe how many news articles filled the Canadian papers. Canadians must have an inferiority complex or a very slow news day...Post edited by Meltdown99 onGive Peas A Chance…0 -
