Seriously, do you or would you claim Team Trump Treason as your president? Because before today, I hadn’t publicly stated as such, although it should be obvious to anyone who’s been paying attention, and yet I, and I’m assuming you haven’t either, has said as much. That leaves one to assume things about other posters and/or the casual reader who doesn’t post. I don’t like assuming things about other people and if I remember correctly, only one poster I know of has posted that they voted for Team Trump Treason. I’m sorry that my posting of my opinions on a band’s forum appears to offend you? Enjoy your Friday night. I’ve got to dim the lights and adjust the brightness on my monitor.Ledbetterman10 said:

Far from it. You're amusing. And I haven't given you the "you live in your parent's basement and sit on your computer all day" treatment like others have so I don't know why you went with that "dim the lights, adjust the monitor" line.Halifax2TheMax said:

I try but I have to tell you that this is serious shit with the ability to forever alter politics and elections, for the worse, for generations. If Team Trump Treason gets away with this shit, and congress and the courts allow it, I fear what future Administrations might do, both repub and dem. This investigation and complicity will be studied in poly sci classes for years to come. Shit ain’t good and it’s getting worse and it’s being met with “meh.” Hitler took 15 years. We’re 2-3 years in.09/15/1998 & 09/16/1998, Mansfield, MA; 08/29/00 08/30/00, Mansfield, MA; 07/02/03, 07/03/03, Mansfield, MA; 09/28/04, 09/29/04, Boston, MA; 09/22/05, Halifax, NS; 05/24/06, 05/25/06, Boston, MA; 07/22/06, 07/23/06, Gorge, WA; 06/27/2008, Hartford; 06/28/08, 06/30/08, Mansfield; 08/18/2009, O2, London, UK; 10/30/09, 10/31/09, Philadelphia, PA; 05/15/10, Hartford, CT; 05/17/10, Boston, MA; 05/20/10, 05/21/10, NY, NY; 06/22/10, Dublin, IRE; 06/23/10, Northern Ireland; 09/03/11, 09/04/11, Alpine Valley, WI; 09/11/11, 09/12/11, Toronto, Ont; 09/14/11, Ottawa, Ont; 09/15/11, Hamilton, Ont; 07/02/2012, Prague, Czech Republic; 07/04/2012 & 07/05/2012, Berlin, Germany; 07/07/2012, Stockholm, Sweden; 09/30/2012, Missoula, MT; 07/16/2013, London, Ont; 07/19/2013, Chicago, IL; 10/15/2013 & 10/16/2013, Worcester, MA; 10/21/2013 & 10/22/2013, Philadelphia, PA; 10/25/2013, Hartford, CT; 11/29/2013, Portland, OR; 11/30/2013, Spokane, WA; 12/04/2013, Vancouver, BC; 12/06/2013, Seattle, WA; 10/03/2014, St. Louis. On second thought, maybe not THAT amusing.
I agree with your second paragraph for the most part. Concerning the "meh" feeling you're saying people have towards all of this, while some people just love Trump and don't care, I think most understand everything that's going on and are concerned. But for those people, I don't think it's a "Meh, who cares that Trump did INSERT ILLEGAL ACTION HERE" sort of thing. I think it's a "Meh, every liberal said that this Mueller was going to take Trump down and that didn't happen. Guess I'll just wait to vote against him in 2020."

I don’t have faith in the American electorate, particularly with the all out stops the repubs will pull, to solve the problem. They gave us Team Trump Treason the first time so it’s safe to say they could “whoops” do it again. The dem congress needs to do its constitutionally mandated job, period.Ledbetterman10 said:On second thought, maybe not THAT amusing.

Well remember that most prominent republicans fought Trump tooth-and-nail before he won the primary. They didn't want him, but they wanted their side to win. You can criticize the repubs' morality for doing a 180 and bowing down to Trump, but politically, ya can't blame them. If a loon hijacked the democratic primary, I think the dems would fall in line the same way the repubs have.Halifax2TheMax said:

I personally put more blame on the democrats for Trump than I do the republicans for two reasons. 1) For losing the 2016 election. I don't care about excuses anyone may have (Russian interference, sexism against Hillary, etc.). They still should have beaten Trump. 2) As you point out, their inability (or refusal....or fear) to do their constitutionally mandated job2000: Camden 1, 2003: Philly, State College, Camden 1, MSG 2, Hershey, 2004: Reading, 2005: Philly, 2006: Camden 1, 2, East Rutherford 1, 2007: Lollapalooza, 2008: Camden 1, Washington D.C., MSG 1, 2, 2009: Philly 1, 2, 3, 4, 2010: Bristol, MSG 2, 2011: PJ20 1, 2, 2012: Made In America, 2013: Brooklyn 2, Philly 2, 2014: Denver, 2015: Global Citizen Festival, 2016: Philly 2, Fenway 1, 2018: Fenway 1, 2, 2021: Sea. I understand your point, but that is absolving the voters and politicians for eliminating morality from the equation. It makes no sense to blame the Democrats who voted for Hillary, for Trump. Blame the ones that stayed home, particularly the Bernie backers if anything.Ledbetterman10 said:
