So much for freedom of speech (Know Your Rights, you may lose them):

Trump niece's book blocked by New York judge but lawyer promises appeal

President’s brother, Robert Trump, is trying to stop publication of niece’s ‘revelatory’ tell-all book

She signed a non-disclosure statement in a previous settlement over the family will. Freedom of speech is the price one pays when signing such agreements. She should have considered that the first time she collected her millions (or whatever the amount was).

I don't see most Rs voting for this off the rails self absorbed IMPEACHED white supremacist twice.

The #tulsaturnout should have been like walking forehead square into a doorjamb for this committee to re-elect.
How many paying customers, you say?  4200?  He did a FLYBY to checkout the overflow area.
    ZERO popularity among rational MFers.

    Nope, full steam ahead.

He HAS to leave the day after he loses. Biden's people ALREADY know what they need to know, the so called "administration" doesn't need to "help" at all.   No need for a transition, or any pretense of decorum, just fucking go.  OUT!

n yo I'm not saying he's going to get NO votes.  What I am saying is that he's got nowhere near the popularity he claims to have.

Look at the yard signs you see in your travels.  If he was so effing popular, you'd see TRUMP PENCE shit everywhere.   Where do you see it now?  The answer is NOT EVERYWHERE.  Silent majority?  Doubtful.  The very fringes of society is where he is, and what he's attempting to appeal to.   There's no path to victory out there, counting on nothing but the "aggrieved" uneducated, selfish douchebags, and racists.  Imagine running a NASCAR race where your entire tact would be to stick as close to the upper wall regardless of opportunities that presented themselves anywhere else on the track.  That's the strategy.  He's painted himself into a corner.

    He gonna get stomped yo.

I'm seeing bs about "Biden Ukraine tapes" from right wingers.  It's funny because the shit coming out was already public knowledge yet they are trying to make it sound new.

They are desperate as hell to knock Biden's gap down.

Yep, and impeaching Trump helps to inoculate Biden on that front too.  Independents and center right people know that Trump was inventing dirt.  they'll keep trying to China, but you'll see Trump's praise of Xi on ads soon enough.  And at the end of the day, Trump failed to protect the US from the Chinese virus.  Why should he get another chance?

I'd hammer this 24/7 if I were running Biden's campaign.

But Trump is now taking this denial to a new level, suggesting any intelligence indicating this may not exist.

Yet the existence of such intelligence simply isn’t in doubt. Republican lawmakers who have been briefed on it confirmed its existence while saying it needs further review. A handful of Republicans have even said revelations of its existence actually make it more urgent to get to the bottom of what it really indicates.

Why doesn’t Trump agree with this? Why isn’t he saying publicly that he will not rest until he learns everything there is to know about these assessments? Making this more glaring, officials are investigating possible links between bounties and specific lethal attacks on U.S. troops.

“A real president would have said, ‘These reports are highly disturbing, and we’re doing everything we can to get to the bottom of them,'” Ned Price, a former National Security Council and CIA official, told me. “That is not what we’ve heard.”

Even the most charitable interpretation here is incriminating. If you stipulate that Trump is merely demonstrating an instinct to protect himself politically — and is just lashing out at the “deep state” or whatever — then this instinct is itself preventing him from seeking a full accounting. Such a narcissistic reflex itself ensures that Trump won’t act for the good of the country.

The less charitable interpretation is worse. Fears are rising of another round of Russian interference in the 2020 elections — after the Trump campaign eagerly benefited from the last round while he largely pretended it never happened.

Trump, who is also pushing for the Group of Seven to readmit Russia, refuses to say outright that his administration will do everything it can to protect the integrity of our elections from outside interference that might help him. As Price pointed out to me, failure to take a hard public stand on the alleged bounties might further embolden Russia on other fronts, such as on electoral interference.

Given all this, you’d think that at a minimum, Trump would use this bounties story as an occasion to send the message that he does, in fact, have our country’s best interests at the top of his mind. But he simply feels no obligation of any kind to signal this.

“I can’t think of a better occasion to have stressed something like that,” Price said.

The full story of why Trump won’t put the national interest first has yet to be told. But Trump has once again made it absolutely clear that this is very much not where his true loyalties lie.

At a minimum this shows how inept tRump and his entire administration is....although the leak might be from an admin official who was fed up about it.

The latest national poll from Pew Research Center reports that “the share of the public saying they are satisfied with the way things are going in the country has plummeted from 31% in April, during the early weeks of the coronavirus outbreak, to just 12%.” Worse for the president constantly touting the false claim that 96 percent of Republicans support him (89 percent do in this poll): “Just 17% of Americans — including 25% of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents and 10% of Democrats and Democratic leaners — say they feel proud when thinking about the state of the country.” His approval rating has plummeted to 39 percent. Trump’s personal qualities are regarded negatively. “A 54% majority describes [former vice president Joe] Biden as caring about the needs of ordinary people; only 41% say this phrase describes Trump very or somewhat well. And more voters say Biden is a good role model and describe him as honest than say that about Trump, by 15 percentage points and 12 points, respectively.”

The president’s handling of issues is likewise viewed negatively. Once a strong suit, his handling of the economy wins only 51 percent approval, with handling of race (35 percent) and ability to unify the country (31 percent) even worse.

No wonder Trump trails Biden by 10 points (54 percent to 44 percent). Remarkably, Biden has closed the gap among male voters to within two points of Trump, while sailing ahead of Trump among women by a 57 percent to 41 percent margin. Biden also leads handily in battleground states 52 percent to 46 percent. It should be noted that the poll was taken before news of the Russian bounties broke; it is quite possible his numbers are now even worse.

The story is much the same in the latest USA Today/Suffolk poll, where Trump’s approval rating clocks in at a shabby 40 percent and Biden leads 53 percent to 41 percent. Moreover, “The findings have a warning flare for Republicans down the ballot. Asked about their vote for Congress in November, 51% of those surveyed say they are inclined to support an unnamed Democratic candidate; 37% say they are inclined to support an unnamed Republican.” In addition, Biden leads on six of seven issues — “race relations, the COVID-19 pandemic, health care, immigration, national security and dealing with China” — while Trump barely leads on the economy (47 percent to 45 percent). On personal qualities, Biden receives positive ratings on bringing the country together, having a vision for the country, caring “about people like you,” getting things done, keeping his promises and being honest and trustworthy; Trump rates negatively on all but having a vision and receives split marks on getting things done.

One point deserves emphasis: Biden is over 50 percent in head-to-head match-ups while Trump is stuck in the low 40s. To turn this around, Trump would have to convince some current Biden voters — not merely undecideds — to vote for him. Considering the way he has been going, the chances of that happening seem small.

Caring more about statues and the names of military bases over American service members' lives in Afghanistan is not a good look. Imagine working for Team Trump Treason? As unemployment climbs and stimulus checks run out, covid-19 deaths continue into the fall, its difficult to see Team trump Treason getting more than the Deplorable 35%.

I'm seeing bs about "Biden Ukraine tapes" from right wingers.  It's funny because the shit coming out was already public knowledge yet they are trying to make it sound new.

They are desperate as hell to knock Biden's gap down.
I guess it's part of the plan? No idea.
    Here's someone's analysis.

DONALD TRUMP HAS A SECRET PLAN TO WIN (SERIOUSLY)

Congrats to Donald Trump for galvanizing the nation behind his key campaign issue of both 2016 and 2018, immigration. Slight problem for Trump, though, as a plurality of country now is in favor of MORE immigration instead of less. Appears as if this is the first time that has ever happened. So...whoopsies?

Vladimir Putin is declared the winner of referendum five hours BEFORE polls close and will seize power until 2036 after 73% back him in 'rigged'vote

Hopefully the SDNY is still working the Guilliani case...
