Let him run on that budget.  Emphasize entitlement cuts against tax breaks.  Make it easy.

Doesn’t matter, check your 401k, he’s winning .  He can shoot someone, even on Lexington Avenue, and he is winning.
50% of Americans aren’t in the stock market and 2 in 5 couldn’t come up with $400 in an emergency.

I think that's such a weak sauce argument and not persuasive to true independents.  And real blue collars either have pensions or nothing.  The people who make that argument to me are Republicans.

I’m not tired of winning yet, and watching democrats implode and fight each other daily is making me have to switch to a healthier popcorn.

Can anyone help me understand how if we pulled out of the Paris climate accord which was followed of course/as usual with baseless democrat dramatic hysteria... we still wound up with -2% overall greenhouse gas emissions and we’re at a 27 year low for co2 emissions?  We did it while not having to fork over cash to outside interests involved in the Paris sham.  Stop the hysteria.  Or... just continue to make all the rest of us laugh and enjoy your senseless drama.

So you do believe that green house gases are damaging and climate change is real then,  right?

Carbon emissions went down slightly, but a smaller percentage than they were going down with the former administration and not nearly as much as they they need to or that the US had committed to. Most of the reduction is from reduced use of coal, which as you may have noticed the current administration seems to want to revitalize. Some slight reductions in emissions from vehicles, which again current administration wants to remove targets on. Some industries have seen increases in emissions.

So, overall, nowhere near it needs to be. Yay I guess for not getting even worse.

Instead of falling off into self imposed oblivion, (nobody likes me...) homies need to start acting like Democratic Leadership...it's OK to have more than one person as a leader.

    Nancy Pelosi is Dem Leadership.
    Kamala Harris is Dem Leadership.
    Julian Castro is Dem Leadership.
    Joe Biden is Dem Leadership.

Start acting like a fucking team and take this mousse-a-lini spray tanned dictating MFer down a few clicks. Stop complicating shit.

Now, that's sound fiscal policy that'll pay for those tax cuts. 4% GDP growth, quarter over quarter, for ten years. Yea, right. He gonna bankrupt the country like he did his casinos, yo! Suckers.

Closer look: Mr. Trump’s budget assumes significantly faster U.S. economic growth than most analysts predict. His last budget predicted that the economy would grow 3.2 percent in 2019; actual growth was 2.3 percent, according to the Commerce Department.

Dirty little secret, carbon emissions and coal decline results from increased use of natural gas in power plants. Gas is historically cheap even though use is up due to fracking.

Dems want to eliminate fracking. So either gas prices are going way up or we go back to coal.

Shale does stabilize the price of Brent and keeps OPEC from cutting production.  They could effectively shut down fracking by increasing production.  Once Brent gets in the 30's per barrel, fracking is dead.  I don't want to shut it down tomorrow, but if alternative energy sources become viable, it will cause sweet crude to fall again and effectively kill fracking.

No offense but this is a limited and narrow focus. To say you can have one without the other is not correct. You can get to 100% renewables, and use natural gas in the interim. Coal isn't strictly in less demand because natural gas demand is up. There is an oversupply of LNG.

    https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/coal-use-continues-to-decline-in-the-u-s/
    https://www.nytimes.com/2019/12/11/business/energy-environment/natural-gas-shale-chevron.html

People's preferences come into play as well. Here in Philly the city is cognizantly signing a contract with Adams County to have a fifth of a solar farm there to supply energy to the city, mostly for underserved/impoverished communities.

All I ask is for people on both sides to come to the table with cited sources when they start espousing facts.

    But, yeah, ban fracking.

As long as someone is talking about him, he's happy.
Do you suppose he'd go away if he was simply ignored? sigh....wishful thinking. Voting in November for sure so that can happen.

I do, but even the Ignore function on this message board is of limited effect; in the real world, ignoring Trump is next to impossible. I'm saying that as a Canadian, who presumably hears less about Trump than my neighbours to the south.

So Herr Trumpolini cried at how unfair it was for his buddy Stone to have a recommended 7-9 yr sentence and the following day DOJ will amend sentencing recommendation to something less. Its said to be unprecedented.....

actually what I read on CNN the DOJ says they came to their decision prior to trump tweeting about it.

Ah of course.  Because why wouldn't they make that independent assessment and decision AFTER making a recommendation to the federal judge.

    hmmm. idk about become.....

One thing we can rightfully credit Chairman Drumph about is peeling back the veneer to expose some real ugly shit thats been festering forever.

So I think ,truthfully, this idea of "becoming" as a bit naive. Imo we as a nation have lived upto maybe 20% of the brochure if that. I think to some degree it a collective willful ignorance. Its hard to admit one is fucked up much less a group of ones.........

Yeah, i won't argue with that. I do think the joke has just become much more obvious and blatant at this point. We don't even pretend to have an independent DOJ - they work strictly for Trump at this point. Same with the GOP in the Senate. There is no longer a check on the executive branch. And seeing world leaders standing around laughing about Trump this year was icing on the cake, after his previous performance where the entire audience laughed at him ("they were laughing with me") when he was exaggerating his accomplishments. We went from being a subtle, backroom joke to being a public, slapstick comedy.
