Konstantin Kosachev, head of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the Upper House of the Russian Parliament, has said that “the departure of James Mattis is a positive signal for Russia, since Mattis was far more hawkish on Russia and China than Donald Trump.” Kosachev opined that Trump apparently considered his own agenda in dealing with Russia, China and America’s allies to be "more important than keeping James Mattis at his post," concluding: "That’s an interesting signal, and a more positive one” for Russia.

    Jubilation was even more apparent on Russia’s state television, which adheres closely to the Kremlin’s point of view. The host of the Russian state TV show “60 Minutes,” Olga Skabeeva asserted: “Secretary of Defense Mattis didn’t want to leave Syria, so Trump fired him. They are leaving Syria.”

     Prison reform that the right has agreed with.  Troop pull outs that the left is now coming out against. 

    This is all all very amusing to watch.   One things for sure.  Trump is highlighting the my team your team mentality on both sides, and the politicizing of everything, but also how similar we are once we put our dogma down.

      Kavanaugh has already voted against stuff the left presumed he wouldn’t.   Roberts is being praised.  Funny how non-legislating justices work, maybe RBG should take a page out of their books. 

    Theres a lot being exposed in DC on both sides with this unconventional Presidency.  Don’t let it pass you by and elect more political hacks.  Maybe unconventional is what we needed.  Does it really matter if he did a porn star before he was President (or, based on Kennedy and Clinton even if he was minus the porn part) or his wife is a model (can you imagine what press would have been if Melania wore thigh high boots?).

    we are still above 22,000. It was at 18,000 when Trump was elected (over 22% growth in 2 years!   I think I will take that). And well below 10,000 10 years ago.  My 401 (K) is just fine, thank you.   

    a year end drop after a significant 2 year bull run In a favorable tax year with Democrats about to control House for profit taking is not only highly likely but expected.  Especially considering the consistent fed rate hikes (not saying I’m against them other than for personal reasons.  We do not want to return to the Jimmy Carter amazingly stupid stagflation)

    It just had it's worst week in almost a decade and is teetering on it's worst December since 1931. The president is contemplating firing his fed chairman after just 6 months. Experts are saying a recession may be on it's way sooner than expected. This is AFTER spending a trillion dollars on an unnecessary tax cut that was supposed to push things into hyper drive just a year ago.
