    I dislike them both for some of the same reasons yes, but Bernie to another level cause I dislike his populist message (and it reminds me of how trump got support).

    Warren I simply disagree with on things.  Though, I disagree with most politicians on each side about so many issues that are important to me it's always a balancing act.  If she's the nominee against Trump, she gets my vote and I won't feel bad about it....living with the consequences are far better than the alternative.

    Even if you guys are right, the 2024 winner won't be any more "far left" than the two Dems we've had in office since JFK.  If anything the party will need to inch right, following the country.  Using today's candidates, it will be someone like Biden (but much younger and with less creepiness) as opposed to someone like Bernie or Warren.

    Of course, the EC sets us up for Trump-brand oligarchy.  In order for my prediction that we in the first of a minimum 6 Trump terms to not happen, something needs to happen to either the GOP (i.e., they have to get back to caring about things other than Team Red) or the population as a whole (i.e., we have to actually get concerned about fascism and the realities of what motivates the First Family).  And enough people have to unify against what's going on to overcome rampant cheating and Trump-Brand vote counters.

    For the Dems part, they are almost as divided within the party as the US is left/right.  That doesn't serve them well.  But the party has a tighter hold on its primaries than the GOP and I think we'll see moderates winning out for a while.  I like AOC...I think we need people like her in congress.  But for the presidency, going far left is a really poor strategy to combat far right.  Right now people are more scared of socialism than fascism. And by the time that changes, it'll be too late.
