Dimitri Firtash. Get to know the name and the background. You’re willfully ignorant if you don’t.

Hey! How’s Rodger Dodger Stoned dooing? Manaforte? Prolly thinking what’s taking so long? Too bad they don’t realize they’re wipes. Well, at their ages, they’re disposable. They lived colorful lives. Suckers.

I did as you suggested.  Sounds like a major player on the Ukraine scene.

P.S.  Google spells it "Dmytro".  I wonder if T calls him Nitro Dmytro?

He’s officially impeached but since Pelosi has not sent the articles to the Senate, it’s tantamount to someone being charged with or indicted on a crime, but are out on bail with their court date pending.
I would agree he is impeached. But I don’t agree with this analogy and is why I don’t think it is far-fetched for those who claim he hasn’t been impeached yet. There is no pending trial.
Its more like being out on bail but the prosecutor refuses to set a trial date so they can hang the label of being charged over your head indefinitely. At some point a judge is going to say Move forward with a trial or drop the charges.
I think in 75 years when anyone who can remember this is dead or senile history will remember this as an impeachment with all democratic votes who decided they didn’t have enough for trial.
Duh...what happens when it goes to the senate in a few weeks?

People really think this isn’t going to the senate? Are these the same people who thought he wasn’t going to be impeached in the first place?

    Come on...

They were in a big hurry to get him impeached why are they dragging their feet now?  To delay the inevitable?
They were “in a big hurry” because of their responsibility to protect the institution from a corrupt president who would act in further corrupt ways potentially based on a history of corrupt ways. This is evidenced by how Pelosi only acted once this particular situation arose (while many in the public or in Congress were already calling for impeachment). To use your terms, people saw that era as Pelosi “dragging her feet” yet she avoided the temporarily politically gratifying decision. The difference between then and now was the quality of the evidence. That shouldn’t be hard to understand.

Your other point, in which you also already misrepresent Pelosi today as “dragging her feet”, is about her using this time in the media to do whatever she can to make the Senate trial one which forces facts (I.e. first-hand witnesses) to be discussed, even in a Republican-controlled body. If this doesn’t go to Senate, the media will clearly tell the story about how McConnell wouldn’t allow four cabinet members who Trump trusts, to testify. If it does, there will be four witnesses testifying, whom Trump trusts.

The reason I mention “witnesses who Trump trusts” is because if you trust Trump, if you trust McConnell, if you trust Trump’s appointees, if you feel Democrats are dishonest, there shouldn’t even be Republican opposition to this truth-seeking, as this would be the way to definitively demonstrate that this was a witch hunt. Without presenting facts to counter, and only rhetoric, Republicans can never disprove this (which, RYME, from an outsider’s perspective is about as suspicious as events come - why don’t you want your guy cleared in what you consider a ‘fair court’ since it’s Republican controlled?). Also remember it would still be Republicans defining the scope of the trial within the framing of the Articles.

Anyways, this is all a waste of energy. You’ve rarely if ever offered a cogent rebuttal to anything I’ve argued on here, and I expect this time will be no different.

one of the surgeons at one of my accounts wears a MAGA surgery cap to operate with. this is in small town Illinois, about 2.5 hours from st louis. he doesn't wear it every day, but he wore it the day of the impeachment vote and the day after. he can get away with it there as a lot of the staff and patients are trumpers, seeing him in that cap always makes me feel uneasy, especially when he is pissed off about something.

  • one of the surgeons at one of my accounts wears a MAGA surgery cap to operate with. this is in small town Illinois, about 2.5 hours from st louis. he doesn't wear it every day, but he wore it the day of the impeachment vote and the day after. he can get away with it there as a lot of the staff and patients are trumpers, seeing him in that cap always makes me feel uneasy, especially when he is pissed off about something.
I would opt for a different surgeon
i would too. he is a great surgeon though. just not a nice person.
Boy, that sounds familiar...not everyone needs fairy dust, hugs, and safe spaces to appreciate a job well done.

Yes,  why would bedside manner be seen as a positive in a physician... or a human?

Thanks, that’s the nicest name I have been called yet on these boards.  I guess there are some that are not angry or live in misery all time.  Have a blessed Xmas eve.
