Dancing for the Devil is an interesting doc. It’s about a weird TikTok dance cult in Los Angeles. Good look at what modern day cults may look like.

Netflix's biggest star (Adolf Hitler) is back with a new documentary called Hitler and the Nazis: Evil on Trial. It's good. I only watched the first episode so far. It's basically WW2 from the German perspective.

Nickelback documentary... It's a really good doc. I am not a fan, besides that one great hit i can think of, but never got the hate AT ALL! I mean, i think they are just as good as the Foos (who i am also not a fan of except for that one huge hit that i can think of, haha). As bands go, they are nice, pure fellas and I appreciate that. I have always felt really bad for them because of the weird hate thrown at them... the doc addresses this, in the most gracious way possible. But this doc reminds me how unfair it all is for them and their loved ones. People suck.

There are a couple subtle PJ references in.it too!

nickelback do suck. the foos mix it up, from album to album. NB is the same overproduced trash every single album. And I haven't always disliked them. I liked the first EP, the indie record and Silver Side Up. But now everything is so watered down and awful.

The Perfect Couple - really really enjoying it! A good old fashioned murder mystery. Nicole Kidman is of course great as usual. Liev Schreiber is also great. The biggest surprise for me is that Jack Reynor (unfortunate boyfriend in Midsommar, lol) is fantastic in it. His best role ever IMO. Also, I am always surprised for sone reason by how versatile Dakota Fanning is as an adult actor. Good for her. Finally, I can't recall what the name is of the woman who plays the female detective, but she is fabulous.

I'm enjoying the Beckham's documentary.  It's interesting to learn so much about football and David's career journey.

Man this Menedez show has been nuts. Got 1 episode left. I see a documentary is now up too.

I am sure a lot is embellished for tv, but yeah you can make the argument that if they were a couple of sisters they may have gotten off.

I'm super familiar with this case, and honestly, there isn't much embellishment going on with this one. This show is the one that just really reminds everyone that there was sexual abuse happening to these guys. The whole world essentially ignored that fact for years. The brothers made it kind of easy to ignore though, with their spiled behaviour after the murders. Still, back then, sexual abuse against males was not something anyone particularly gave a shit about, and it showed in this case.

There was evidence of them discussing that abuse with friends/relatives prior to the murders correct?

My kids had asked me about this show and I said "oh yeah they did it" and then once I started watching I remembered the stuff that came out. I had completely forgotten about the sexual abuse and how I had changed my tune years ago.

Well the last episode, in their second trial, makes it seem like they did embellish a lot of the abuse though? I'm not sure what to think.

I will say the show does actually make you feel sympathy towards them when they get transferred to two separate prisons.
