Hmmmm. That's an interesting take on it. I'll try that later.

You gonna get his VCR pedal?

at least I think that's the one I used...haha. I know that I capo at the 5th, so that's why that one jumped out at me. I'll grab my guitar when I get home.

I didn't know the pedal was for sale?!

just found it online. I'd have to try it out first, I think. I just got a new pedal, so now may not be the best time.

I think maybe it didn't sell as well as expected. Just look at the posters in this thread who passed on it, like MFC, one of the biggest DRA fans I know and even he passed due to the cost. 17 bsides couldn't even do the job. I think I'll get this box eventually if it's available, but I can't justify the cost right now.

I dunno....there was a ton of positive feedback on his IG feed where lots of folks were saying they'd purchased a copy of the deluxe.

I'm presently about 1/2 thru my first stream of the full album.....sounds incredible so far.

That's exactly how I was with this album. It took longer to get into but now that it's sunk in...wow. That's how I am with amazing albums though. Not always accessible on the first listen.

I was just the opposite. I thought his was more immediate than the last 2. It's probably his best album since the 2005 run. I may even like it more than 29 which puts this album in the upper half of his officially released solo catalog.

That's kinda funny just because I find his albums hit and miss at best - I really don't like the majority of them (and 1989 is my fave, which isn't even his own music, and Taylor Swift songs no less, lol), and generally think of him as only being really good when he plays live - but I enjoyed this new album on first listen.

I decided not to listen to any leaks, and avoided streaming until I had my copy... My cd hasn't arrived yet, and the download link (from ordering the box) only arrived this morning. That will teach me to wait!

It's been on repeat all morning though, great album :)

This what I'm doing, going to get it from the record store sometime this week. My dog and I will have an exclusive first listen together.

Has anybody received their presale code for the UK/Irish shows? I signed up for it but haven't heard a thing and presale is tomorrow morning.
Edit: Never mind. Just got it.

Love that sax part in Tightrope, reminds me so much of a Bruce song. This album is really damn good.
