Heads up for anyone trying for tickets- I'm in Ireland so this issue was with tickemaster.ie.
During the presale today when the TM clock ran down the 'View Tickets' option never appeared. It just said 'No tickets Available'.
My friend and I were communicating during this and he was having the same issues and there were a lot of WTF's!!! between us. I thought it was a glitch and kept at it but no tickets would come up.
My friend then went to Ryan's website and hit Buy Tickets directly from the tour page which brought you to the TM page but somehow bypassed the Tickets not Available page and gave you the option to buy tickets. Even hours later the TM page was showing no tickets but if you went through Paxam to TM there were tickets. Not sure anyone will have this issue TM.com but just in case I thought I'd throw it out there.

Was able to score Beacon tickets and my red vinyl came in mail and came with rolling papers.

    Anyone else get the papers?

I'm an idiot. I was on vacation all last week so didn't check my email once. This morning I discovered that I had 2 different presale info emails for Ryan Adams, and I missed them. :anguished: I did still get a ticket this morning, a single in the centre of row 17. That is a perfectly decent seat, but I know I would have had a super primo seat for the same price if I'd known about the presales. Lesson learned - I just signed up for text notifications from Live Nation/TM.
Anyway, I'm excited about this show as the lovely Orpheum! I haven't seen RA before. :) I was also happy to see how relatively cheap the tickets are.

  • Cheap? Lucky you. Floor seats in Charleston were expensive! I bit the bullet and bought one but for the Columbia show I bought first balcony tix because I didn't think my concert partner would pay as much as I was willing to pay.

Bummer. The most expensive ticket in the venue is $60 CAD (cheapest are $45). Crazy cheap! No floor though - it's a theatre. Maybe he isn't as popular in Canada and knows it, so priced accordingly? There are actually a surprising number of tickets still available... enough that one might wonder if it will actually sell out or really even come close.

I could have had front row in Edmonton, but they wouldn't leave single seats open so all three had to be bought, went back to row seven, pretty excited.

They were $82 with fees here. $57 for balcony. I didn't pay that much two years ago when I saw him.

Really digging the new one played it once a day everyday since I got it. Every time I listen to it I find something new. The album is also not in your face when it plays but if you listen to it, it's in your face. Know what I mean?

That's a lot in USD. After fees, the best tix here in Vancouver were $75 CAD (about $55 USD).

Not sure if you guys saw this last week, but here's an awesome print interview with Ryan that included video of him describing each song on the album. It's freaking incredible.

  • i love everything about this record. except the cover. the cover painting just makes me sad. that blank stare. is that the final hug? is he hugging someone he does not love? is he trying not to let that person go? it really fits the record well.

You should get the Barnes and Noble edition. As much as I hate B&N the cover is much cooler.
