    got ticket for the first row in Hamburg. Ticket sales were suprisingly good there, 4/5 of tickets are sold after 4 days.

    So I just randomly decided to spin my 'Live at Carnegie Hall' for what I thought was the first time in forever. Apparently it's actually the first time ever...

    Imagine the confusion when I started Side 3, expecting to hear New York, New York...

    What I got instead was... 'Unnatural Selection' by Muse  :o

    WTAF?!? Instead of New York, New York, Please Do Not Let Me Go, Rats In The Wall, Why Do They Leave, and Sylvia Plath, I've got Unnatural Selection, MK Ultra, and I Belong To You from Muse's 'The Resistance' album.

    I bought it 10 years ago so there's nothing I can do about it now. I obviously just used the download coupon and didn't get around to ever playing the vinyl. 

    The worst part about all of this... I fucking hate Muse!

    This cracked me up as I don't think I ever got around to opening mine either so I'm most likely in the same boat...

    From what I remember this was a tough record to get back then?

    Did you guys get the second pressing of it or the first? I had the first run and mine was perfect. But I sold it years ago.

    OMG, that SUCKS!!! I would be furious. I have wanted this boxset for years (I will get it one of these days)... If I found this issue with it I'd be so upset. I hope it's not a common problem. I'll be getting it used though (discogs I presume, unless someone here wants to give me a deal :wink: ), so if it happens I'll be able to return for a refund.

    I don't recall ever seeing a second pressing of it.... There was a return to Carnegie Hall, a whole other show, but no second pressing of this one.

    There were 2 pressings of the original Live at Carnegie Hall set. The first one had a yellow hype sticker and was really hard to get, the second had a blue sticker.




    I’ve got a second press. I added a comment on Discogs yesterday and noticed someone else had the same problem.

    Wtf! I have never seen the distinction made over several years of shopping and not buying - I obviously set up a want for the wrong pressing. Thanks for the info! I'll definitely be making sure I get a first pressing... and spending way more. Sigh.
