Columbia was done by Taylor and Lexington was an uninspired rehash of an old poster. Ames hasn't done a truly great poster since 2007.nicknyr15 said:Anything you lose from being honest

I meant Greenville. I love both of these posters so your opinion is they haven't done anything great since 2007. Their Lexington is a very high demand poster which would suggest otherwisenortherndragon said:

Being in demand doesn't mean it's a great poster(see everything from Wrigley 2013 although the Cracker Jack isn't bad). And that doesn't change the fact it is still an uninspired rehash of an old poster and theme(five guys in a v-ish stance in costumes).nicknyr15 said:

I never understood the hate for the '10 Columbus. Putting aside the fact the show was terrific (which IMO helps to solidify a poster's stature), if this poster had the words NEW YORK CITY in place of COLUMBUS on it the price it commands would likely be 2X/3X its' current value. A "fun" poster you can enjoy getting lost in and analyzing all the little details...I may be in the minority on this but those are the hallmarks of a solid effort as far as I'm concern.derbydave said:

I think Ames has a certain style that they stay close to from year to year. If you're not a fan of that style or if you demand that they constantly reinvent themselves year after year then I can see why you might prefer other artists. But to state they haven't done anything great in 9 years is a little ridiculous.northerndragon said:

2010 was the last great year for Ames0

The problem for me, is that most of their stuff looks "lazy" or quickly done. Compared to e.g Munk One who seems to but a lot of effort into his drawings, coloring, details etc.on2legs said:
