Zack posted a vid saying he's gonna do an overview of the show when he gets back to his hotel. He may mention Who You Are. If he doesn't I'm gonna REALLY lean towards it not having been played.

It would be odd placement, if it was played.

    I imagine ...
that is what I assumed but I always thought it would be cool to add in a 2nd guitar... my friend and I have played around with it...
Everything not forbidden is compulsory and eveything not compulsory is forbidden. You are free... free to do what the government says you can do.

Agree 100%. I'd dig it more if someone else got in on it.

    Yup, Ed Solo for Guaranteed.

If I hear from my relayer about Who You Are I will post about it here. I don't think it happened.

God willing, this pointless war won't last half as long as Vietnam, so the numbers won't get THAT elevated...

its already been way longer than half of vietnam...

as for the show...just got home. good set. i'd agree with many that said weakest of the tour, but still overall good. evacuation is bad ass in my book. if they keep jeremy at this kind of rotation, i wouldn't mind it so much!!! (now if only they could get evenflow or jeremy down to this level...). good show. this will probably be a "buy the whole tour" tour for bootlegs...not that i didn't in '00 or '03...

I won't be buying VA Beach boot. That's for sure.

It was pretty solid sounding dude..... Good energy in the songs... 8 minute plus RVM....Even Evac sounded blasted good.... Eddie messed up to start though and Insig took on nice meaning and energy with all of the weapons around Va Beach.... Don't overlook it cause the words on paper don't match expectations... Of course I'm bias... I just got back.

    fckn a plus .. sweet
Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
    And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green

  • Just got back. First set was amazing. Long Road opening was awesome and the full moon was out. He definitely loved looking at the moon it was perfect the moon was dead center looking out from the stage. Don't know if anyone noticed but he did at least 3 songs containg lyrics with full moon "I Am Mine" "Wishlist" and I'm so tired I apoligize I can't think of the other song having it. "Low Light" or "Insignificance" maybe? "The Moden Girl" outro of "Not For You" was amazing. Very good first set. Then the encores were total letdowns besides "Guaranteed" which was probably the highlight. The encores were short and pretty bland but it again "Gauranteed" was awesome. I was hoping for "WMA" and "Who You Are." It was still an awesome time and the band was having fun. Oh yeah and the crowd was kind of lame Ed couldn't really get them to sing to much of anything. I feel like that's when they changed gear to play more greatest hits type songs...I hope I can make it to DC but I am kind of strapped for cash. I have to find a way. Good Night!

Encore 1: Comatose, Why Go, Better Man, Jeremy

Encore 2: Guaranteed (Ed solo), Alive, Rockin' In The Free World (w/Kings Of Leon)
Wow, nice to to see Guaranteed in there :) but I hope this is the "off" night of the tour. I'll be interested to read the fan views later ... I think I'd be disappointed leaving after those encores.

Nice job keeping up with it MattyJoe.

I agree with that point about the encores.... Felt like it was building up to a lot and then stopped short......It felt like the band hit a wall to an extent and pulled back a bit when they came out for the first encores... (Comatose, et al).

First set though was one of the best I have been a part of in terms of energy.

PS ...best I could grab of Mike

and there is confusion. i wasn't at the show. i meant that i just got home to look at the setlist. sorry bout that.
