Coming from you, this should be taken as gospel.

To the OP, lighten up Francis.

Well, I don't think you can judge it by previous shows. I have been to some of my favorite shows in small population cities (boise and little rock for example). That said.... out of the 34 shows that I have attended.... Hartford '06 is a solid 34.

they are the only show on the tour where PJ hits the stage at 9:15....the will probably finish at 10:30....every time they play there it sucks....can anyone explain it? or why they keep playing there?

That's nuts, the 2006 Hartford show is one my favourite of the whole year (and I've listened to every show).

You're insane. 29 shows and I would not put it solely at the bottom.

I know what the OP is saying. I wouldn't say every show in htfd is like that but '06 they just seemed tired. I think htfd gets used as filler between ny and boston shows. I would never say it is the worst ever. One show I saw in phx was not ed's best. But the heat was playing havoc with his voice, too.

Hartfords curfew is 11PM, they are pretty strict about it. so a 90 min set look like what we have ahead of us. of course....they dont always listen to what the promoter says.

remember....times are always subject to change

At Great Woods (Tweeter Center) in MA the curfew is 10 or 10:30 so the sets will probably be about the same length.

On such a short tour (only 10 cities I think) you've got to think that every show is going to be great. Hartford won't be MSG or Boston but I still have high expectations. Also, last time they played Hartford it was pretty cold outside which shouldnt be an issue this time around.
    2004: Boston II

2006: Hartford, Boston I, Boston II

2008: Hartford, Mansfield I, Mansfield II

truth of the matter is you never know where they are going to bust out a great show (e.g. Albany 06') Hartford is owed a good one after a few less than stellar shows.
