Section C-7 Brawl Night 2

Anyone know what happened here? I was in B-6 when I saw a half dozen security guards running to the section, and dragging what looked to be about 4 people out of the venue...Obviously it was a fight, but was curios if anyone knew what started it. Were the Even-bros out ?

  • Was this at the end of the night? I saw a guy run and jump into the crowd and start throwing punches. Didnt last long until he was dragged out. No idea what started it.
Saw a very small % of douchebaggery at Fenway 2 compared to most shows, most seemed to be content having fun and not trying to smack people around.

guy was jamming/jumping around and bumping into the girl next to him, hubby/bf of next to girl tapped jammer/jumpers shoulder, jammer/jumper ignored twice, hubby/bf said something to the jammer/jumper, jammer/jumper made a reference with his hand pointing at the seat behind him like "this is my seat, this is my space", motioning his hand as an imaginary line, hubby/bf said something and the jammer/jumper said "what.. what... what" each time the hubby/bf repeated himself, as if jammer/jumper didnt hear what hubby/bf was saying, hubby/bf then called jammer/jumper a dick, girl next got involved when hubby/bf and jammer/jumper went nose to nose, then girl next and hubby/bf 2 bros/buddies (not sure if #evenbros or not) jumped in and took the brunt of it from jammer/jumper, hubby/bf and 2 bros/buddies along with jammer/jumper were escorted, girl next walked out after hubby/bf then returned 2 songs later and cosy'd up with 3 obvious #evenbros eventually leaving with them after starspang banner

Ahh, OK, this was when the lights went on the last few songs.

Sweet Baby Jesus, that second hand explanation above made my brain hurt. gf/br/bro - ack.
If someone repeatedly jumped into my wife and refused to stop I would get them tossed. If they talked crap on her I might be tossed myself. If that makes me an #evenbro I would gladly own that. People need to accountable for their actions. This reminds me of the 'Don't Go Into GA If You Dont Want to Get Pushed Around' thought line.
Just respect other people. Pretty simple, really. Or...as Eddie put it, "Don't be an Asshole"

Even in the crowded concourse under the stadium I thought people were very well behaved.

  • Missed the fight. I don't get some people at these shows. Had the woman behind us puke all over the seat next to us right before the show started. Luckily that seat ended up not being used as she destroyed it. My wife and I caught splatter and got to stand in in puke the whole show.

I didn't see any brawls, but I read a lot of reports on social media that several people over each night were taken to the hospital because someone at the show slipped a drug into their drink and they had to be taken away by ambulance. One woman reported that her friend was sitting in front of two guys and she suddenly felt ill and went to the ladies room, as she left, the guy said to her "good night". I find it unconscionable that someone would inflict that level of harm to someone else. I followed that thread yesterday and I am not sure if the woman reached out to ten club to inform them that this happened. Other people then added their stories that the knew of or heard others were also taken to the hospital. Apparently the woman (Becky ???) said her friend was told by a doctor at hospital she was given some sort of synthetic hallucinogenic drug. Hopefully she is going to be okay.

Be careful out there, don't leave your drinks unattended, I cannot believe this type of sociopath is attending a pearl jam concert.

Holy christ. Sad people act like this but Boston deserves some kudos for how a lot of the people were. My wife after HoB got a little too drunk and me and a buddy had to drag her out of the bar to get her in the uber back to my hotel. We had 3 or 4 groups of people come and accuse us of trying to rape her. I stayed calm and explained she was my wife and thanked them for checking on her but for 5 minutes they were relentless. Back home no one would have said a word to us.

Know a similar story about another Becky for Philly 1 that knowingly took something from someone and spent the night hurting. Shouldn't take anything from anyone if you don't know them.

The Becky girl on social media is a local gal, I believe, mid to late 30's. Her accounts of what happened seemed genuine. Boston is a great city, but like any place, you have to be careful of your surroundings at all times and as for people, I treat pearl jam fans that I meet at shows like anyone else I meet, there is a vetting process in which you either pass my standards for potential friendship,or you fail. If you fail, I will have nothing to do with you. If you pass, I still keep my guard up.

When people are drinking, there guard is down. I don't know if the same person hit these pearl jam concerts/hob event or if it was different people, but there are reports all over social media that people were drugged without their consent and that is an assault. A guy also reported is friend got sick at HOB event and he went to men's room and never came back, the guy found him totally out of it in the street.

    Be careful!!!

We were in RF 94 and saw a blonde girl taken out on a stretcher. Wonder if that was her. Damn, that sucks that people would do that to another person. A great reminder to keep an eye on your drinks, especially if you are female.

That is outrageously, frighteningly horrible. I swear, let me see anything like someone putting something in someone else's drink, I'm seriously getting a cop and pointing the guy out and I'll miss the show filing a report if I have to. That is dangerous and horrible and... unbelievable.

Yeah, I'm sorry you went through that and I'm glad you were able to stay calm. But I gotta say I'm REALLY happy to hear people were paying attention and trying to help. It happens the bad way waaaaay too often, where the guys carrying the drunk girl/woman out do NOT have good intentions and NO ONE says anything. Really glad people were vigilant, although again sorry you had to deal with that while also taking care of your wife. But I'm sure if she were out with girlfriends and someone slipped her a mickey and strange guys were carrying your wife out, you'd want people to be just as vigilant, right?
