The NRA and gun advocates have been running their mouths for years about people having guns to use in armed insurrection against tyrannical government, so where do they stand on this? The Bundy clan were the people's heroes and this guy is a villain...I wonder what the difference between them is? Why is BLM taking heat and the NRA, who specifically advocates potential violence against agents of the government (cops) gets off the hook on responsibility for someone who actually did what they preach?
These wouod be questions more for supporters of the NBA, aka random yokel gun nuts... of course, logic isn't too high a priority these days.
pssst...PJ_Soul, I think you mean NRA...
I even tried to correct it before posting and my phone refused the correction, apparently.

I feel sorry for everyone loosing a dear family member or friend.
There has been a couple of death shootings made by cops here in my country as well. In those cases I think the cops made the right decisions because they were being shot against first and these people was very dangerous to the society.
I think if a cop kills someone with no justifiable cause then he/she must be prosecuted like everyone else.
We need a control-alt-delete really f**king quickly.
Yes. What the hell is wrong with people?
If things weren't out of control before... they are now.
Stop. Just stop, man. Put down the gun. Go to nearest liquor store. Buy beer. Phone friend to come over. Begin drinking beer and talk about upcoming NFL season.

And then what to do with/about the 12-year-old involved in stealing guns from a pawn shop in Baton Rouge to commit carnage like what just went down?

Baton Rouge...one source on this so far. (but there's always the possibility the original gunfight was to draw the police there.)
Witness Brady Vancel told WAFB that he saw two people shooting at each other before authorities even arrived.
“There was multiple gunshots going back and forth and back and forth before any police ever showed up. This was not a come-at-police situation,” Vancel said. “They weren’t targeting police at first, I don’t assume so, because these were men out here shooting at each other in an empty parking lot until the police showed and then it turned into a gun battle, I’m guessing to try to get themselves free or get out of the situation.” http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/baton-rouge-police-officers-shot_us_578b9c19e4b03fc3ee51383b

It's pretty common for gangs to have kids that age holding their drugs and stealing for them. Shitty.
Its a college town with mostly great racial relations. You will always see BRPD cops changing tires/looking under the hood for blacks/whites/etc on the side of the highway. i had never seen that before. The ghettos are extremely bad tho when it comes to violent crime. This didnt happen in a bad area at all.
Nothing really else to say. So sad. RIP to those brave cops.
Do the assholes in the crowd that do this believe that they will accomplish anything other than cost more black people more lives? Starting to think BLM is preaching to the wrong crowd. They need to start marching through the ghettos if they are really wanting to make a difference in how the black communities are raising their children to be criminals. Start raising your children like their lives matter for fucks sake. I find it interesting how people will complain over and over about how this is the result of lack of privileges when I attended a meeting just the other day where they say the minority and migrant college scholarships are not being utilized by migrants and minorities. A large portion of that grant and scholarship money gets turned in back to the government because it's just not used by those crying they never get anything...wtf people?

Don't you see that as a major problem that our education system does not provide underprivileged people an education or prep people for college?

Hardest job in the country and people only want to focus on the tiny percentage of them that are bad. Even the protests here were peaceful and uniting until the outside troublemakers came in. No surprise this guy came from out of state.
Those poor officers. First one just identified. He just became a dad a month ago. RIP Montrell Jackson.

I really is sad and terrible when cops are killed.
And as far as bad people- I think the percentage of all people be they cops, citizens, Americans, Arabs, Europeans, whatever- I think it's a small percentage of all people that are truly bad or awful people.
