weird I was holding tickets to a PA show and another in the northeast, all canceled. Waited months for a refund and now the new dates have nothing in the region? Very unusual move. Good for these fans.

Agreed, I was a little surprised at the locations. Figured they would be hitting the venues or cities they cancelled last year... I guess not.

Unless they squeeze in a few US dates in June which I wouldn't expect, this is about all we can expect until September at the earliest.

I would think Maynard wants to get Puscifer out to support ER as well, so this could be it for Tool for the foreseeable future.

They were on tool's website last night, archived after the cancelled 2020 shows, but are no longer there.

I think it's going to be a drought for a while.  Most of the provinces haven't brought back full capacity shows.  They're still against public health orders.   It doesn't seem too many arena level bands want to risk setting dates here until that situation changes :(

I caught the Boston & Uncasville shows in November of '19... fantastic is an understatement.

My only dilemma now is whether or not to settle for just one show, or if I try to make the NY or NJ show the following weekend.
  • Nice surprise today seeing this. Wish the FL dates were during a weekend.

Hell, I’ll take more Puscifer too!

My body won’t permit me to travel to the closest shows. Goddammit all.

I will NOT cry though. Pretty sure I’ll hmmph.

It is the Isles new ubs arena (unless Maynard will be singing with the ponies at Belmont lol). Last chance tour for genesis is there in Dec.

Very good news for tool fans

Sorry you won't be able to make any of these dates. Good on you not to cry about it... A hmmph seems underwhelming though, all things considered... I would allow you a hearty harrumph over the situation... you're entitled to at least that much.

I must decide until Thursday night..Tool or PJ, cause i can't make it both..damn..
    Athens 2006. Dusseldorf 2007. Berlin 2009. Venice 2010. Amsterdam 1 2012. Amsterdam 1+2 2014. Buenos Aires 2015.
Prague Krakow Berlin 2018. Berlin 2022
    EV, Taormina 1+2 2017.

I wish i was the souvenir you kept your house key on..

    I'm definitely going for Boston.

Might try for Buffalo too... I'm not thrilled about the prospect of being in a crowd of thousands this winter, but am wiling to do it for this band. (it has less to do with covid anxiety as it does straight up social anxiety... I don't want to be around people!!!!)

Part of me also sees the size of this tour and has me thinking they're trying to do as much as they can this spring... who knows when they'll get back together / tour again? I definitely think Puscifer is on the horizon for next fall, and knowing how (slowly) Adam Jones works, I know I would regret not trying to get to at least one of these shows when all is said & done.

I don't want to overthink it, but man... this tour is massive. Maybe it's more motivated by the last year & a half then it is the unknown future, but I don't want to take any chances regardless.

I will be going for Boston too but will not buy tickets until much closer to the date. Chance of a Quebec show added in 2022 and all of the potential PJ I will be seeing I will make a decision next year. 2019's show was a lot of fun in Boston.

That is a TINY venue for them and their stage setup.  Jealous!  Saw them twice on F.I. tour in 2019, and will be hitting Chicago again.

The resale feature was why I felt comfortable pulling the trigger on a ticket for Dublin this afternoon.

I have family there I'm desperate to see, so I might be able to finagle this... that is if my wife doesn't murder me first... this conversation is NOT going to go well for me this evening.

If I don't post in this forum after tonight, she probably murdered me in my sleep.
