    Right?

It never ends. Likely some extra time needed because Poosifer is planning on releasing an ep.
    It's totally ridiculous lol

They shouldn't be allowed to do anymore interviews...

He forgot to mention the Puscifer tour scheduled for this fall.

We've waited this long... we can wait longer.

If there's a special deluxe vinyl edition of this new album... I'm buying it. I don't care. I'm just gonna do it (unless there is a colored 45 Poosifer included).

  • At least he gave a solid timeline of when to expect it. Will be a good sign if pre-orders start in April

Is this the first time we got a rough estimate from Maynard since 2006?

For those interested they landed in Maine last night which is where they master. So mixing is done. Quite possibly an album announcement this month. Kinda hoping it gets released after 21 June though as I'll be on a 3 month long Asian odyssey and I don't want my first experience of the new album to be some bell end in a hostel bar playing it over drunken hollering on his Bluetooth speaker.

Looks like they’re really getting the bus warmed up. Can’t wait to see how they handle the single when all the songs are supposedly over 10 minutes. Maybe that counts the two part songs that made up half the last album or MJK suggested some editing to get something a bit more radio friendly(6 minute range).
  • VitalogensiaVitalogensia Posts: 1,995
I'm assuming the album won't be out before the tour.  Depending on the price, I might just wait til the tour after the album...but it is Tool...

I thought they didn't allow their music to be streamed?  Did they finally change this?

It’d be cool if I turned out wrong but I don’t think that’s a possibility at all.

Given their aversion to digital you're probably right but I'm just spitballin' here. After all this time and knowing their quirkiness, it just seems weird to think about a traditional couple month lead up and all that jazz.

I got my tix, but if I happen to hear anyone looking I'll let you know (I live in VA).

I thought the Ticketmaster queue thing was odd, but I wonder how effective it was at preventing bots (I assume that's what it was intended to do).

Sweet! Thanks! Yea my queue stood at 2000+ for about 20 mins then dropped super fast.  Never seen this system before so it was odd for me as well.

I think the TM queue's do 2 things.  The first is that it helps with server power but not allowing everyone to place their orders at the same time.  The 2nd is that I think the queue is random, so it keeps the bots from being able to gobble up all the tickets.

I will be shocked if we don’t see the new album by June or July. I really can’t envision them doing the picture from Gateway Studios if they weren’t getting it done.

I got Louisville tix on stubhub.  TM is a fucking disaster.  Every ticket I selected was "no longer available" by the time I got to the next screen
