I'm not buying . . . Awfully early for Performer list drop.
Not really.
South American Lollas in 2013 were announced September 30, 2012 during the Missoula show. I've heard this will be announced within the next month.

South America in March seems to be happening... now the question is... will this be the start of it all? Or can we expect shows before this? (Australia or US in january/Feb)

I think a cross Canada tour is due. Last time that happened was when Bush was president (if I am not mistaken). Wishful thinking.
Canada got the pj20 tour in 2011
We did ok in 2016 with shows in Ontario, Quebec, and BC. I won't complain if they do a more extensive Canadian tour though. It usually means a Vancouver stop
True. But I think they skipped Atlantic Canada in 2011 ...
I really hope we see some Canadian dates soon.

No rumors, just wondering if anyone thinks it's even remotely possible that something could still happen in 2017. I get that it appears rather unlikely at this point, but I think in 2015 the GCF announcement e-mail indicated that the GCF show would be PJ's only North American performance that year. I'm sure this has been discussed already, but the RRHOF announcement didn't indicate anything about it being PJ's only performance this year. In and of itself, I know that doesn't mean anything. Would be amazing to have them announce a surprise show on short or no notice like the Foos just did at Metro a couple weeks ago (and like PJ did in Nashville last year).
Maybe there were some shows in planning, maybe after Chris' death those plans may have been shelved!? I'm sure PJ have clauses in contracts for tours / venues to cancel / pull out at any time. But I'm only guessing . There weren't many strong rumours though.
An email I received today from ten club with a few updates basically said no 2017shows apart from the few that Ed is going to play in September. Maybe the thread now needs to read 2018 tour rumours.

Black Sabbath played their last ever shows early this year.
That is the main reason I think all they did was kept the bands listed from 2016/17 and just moved it 2017/18. Then I googled Black Sabbath tour and there are rumours of 2018 album/tour going around so who knows. We can speculate all we want and talk to all the security guards in the world ( I have talked to 3 people that said they know people that were in a meeting mid August and Pearl Jam's name is at the top of the performers at Fenway next year) but until it's official all this thread will ever be is speculation. How the hell do security guards find out these top secret details anyway lol.

Matt to RS: "We're still just kind of writing stuff right now," is just about all he'll say on the matter. "We're still in the beginning stages of everything." He has just four words to say about the possibility of more Pearl Jam live dates in 2018: "We have no plans."
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.
