Matt to RS: "We're still just kind of writing stuff right now," is just about all he'll say on the matter. "We're still in the beginning stages of everything." He has just four words to say about the possibility of more Pearl Jam live dates in 2018: "We have no plans."
To quote the 10C from Newsletter #8: "Please understand we have a lot of members and it is very hard to please everybody. If you are one of those unhappy people...please call 1-900-IDN-TCAR."

Fake news
That could pick up quickly, but likely not if I were to be realistic.
Obviously the band doesn't fancy touring any more they might of 10 yrs ago , those days are gone !
It's all your fault Jose!

Five guys in their 50s. All multi-millionaires. Most with kids. Im glad they still do 3 week tours every few years I guarantee school and other kid stuff plays a part.
They might do a residency at a summer camp one year. Might make the most sense. VIP tickets get you s'mores with Boom
An email I received today from ten club with a few updates basically said no 2017shows apart from the few that Ed is going to play in September. Maybe the thread now needs to read 2018 tour rumours.

Well BrainofBGA...the challenge has been put too you............lol

The way Matt was quoted in RS maybe 2019 would be even more appropriate.....:( Noooooooooooo!!!!!
350,000+ views and not one solid piece of news. Gotta love the interwebs haha.
Would you please, or someone who posts a lot on here just start a 2018 thread? There's no rumors, will be a clean slate. Matt gave a stock answer to rolling stone, that's it. But why not start fresh for 2018 on page 1 and let this 2017 thread wither its death of useless, but fun, wishes, hopes, hypotheticals, and dreams that never happened. Let's not let the let down that was 2017 carry into 18!
Once things get cooking I don't want to try and figure out if the two good nuggets were back on page 64 and page 77. Easier to start fresh right? I'd do it but people probably gravitate to one of you 5 digit posters. Whaddaya say? Maybe a new thread will change our luck!

What Really?...maybe we should ask Jeff lol...really hoping for an Australian tour soon...
It's pretty difficult to overestimate the impact Chris's passing has and will have on this situation. I wouldn't be holding my breath for dates guys.
Ed went through with his Euro tour, Matt is releasing a solo album (and at least made mention of the guys writing stuff for the next album even if it is the very beginning phase), Mike has been all over the place with his music projects. So we know at least three of them are still working/doing pretty well (in the public light at least) post that tragic event. If they don't tour next year, I would say that is more because of the lack of new material than it is Chris. We wil never know I guess, but they 'seem' to be doing okay.
I am going to keep holding my breath for now. No way 2018 is another off year.

Yea I think in particular the Temple tour being so recent intensifies the impact when it comes to going out and playing more shows. The last time Stone, Jeff, Mike and Matt toured together was with Chris. And now Chris is gone. It's insane. The proximity of the Temple tour (which we are so lucky to have got) to the end of Chris's time here is nuts. I bet it won't be easy for those 4 guys to jump back to PJ tours that soon.

I agree this was a major major tragic event for these guys heck he was as like their big brother you just don't move on !
