Simmons said on his most recent podcast that Pearl Jam, "...are going to be doing a whole bunch of exciting things over the next few months..." into 2017.
I really could do with a tour announcement now. Pinkpop said that PJ wouldn't sign up in the end, if I remember correctly
2009 - Manchester. 2010 - Dublin, Belfast, London, Berlin, Arras, Werchter. 2011 - PJ20 i & ii, Montreal, Toronto i & ii, Ottawa, Hamilton. 2012 - Manchester i & ii, Berlin i & ii, Stockholm. 2014 - Amsterdam i & ii, Trieste, Vienna, Berlin, Leeds, Milton Keynes. 2016 - Boston Fenway i & ii, 2018 - Amsterdam i & ii, Pinkpop, London i & ii, Padova, Krakow, Barcelona, Seattle i & ii.
My thoughts/opinions on 2017 for Pearl Jam... Pearl Jam seem to hit the east coast every 2 1/2 - 3 years. So I don't think we'll seem them play anywhere east in 2017 or atleast a full on East Coast tour. I feel like they are gonna hit some festivals for sure both in Europe and the US. And maybe a show hear and there in the US, maybe another baseball stadium? I do think they are gonna do something for there 25 anniversary, but I feel like it might a destination show not a tour, hopefully I'm wrong though. On a side note. Matt Cameron said in an interview over the summer that soundgarden are writing a new album. So I could see a new soundgarden album or atleast new music from them in 2017. And I do know at the two Philly Temple Of The Dog shows they filmed both nights so hopefully they are planning on releasing something. But again this is just all my opinion/speculation. Who knows what the new year will bring.

Except PJ25 would of been this year or last year if you count mookie blaylock. Next year would be PJ 26. I'm not expecting anything big for pj26 but some gorge shows would be perfect.
Bad news. Spoke to Jeff tonight at Easy St Records. I asked him about some European shows. He said "there is absolutely nothing show wise penciled in for next year". He said they will be going into the studio in the new year and that scheduling touring before that hasn't worked out well in the past. The only hope he gave was an "unless something pops up, not next year" statement. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news...

Um...not all bad. They're going into the studio. They'll play some shows, I'm sure.

That's great news as far as I'm concerned. They've already toured wherever they will tour for Lightning Bolt. It's time for some new stuff.
I heard from a damn good source that they will hit Australia late 2017.
