Jeff is the one that helps decide where to go right so looks ominous!

I heard from a damn good source that they will hit Australia late 2017.

This would be awesome. Fingers crossed they come down to Tasmania.
  • I haven't had Pearl Jam radio on Sirius for awhile, but it's free this weekend because of the holiday so someone fill me in.

The have a hashtag #PJ25 and were interviewing Jeff about ticket scalpers, making sure their fans get the best value, etc. I'm also an avid listener of Bill Simmons' podcast and he's been seemingly hinting at a Pearl Jam 25 anniversary and/or tour of some kind. Can someone that listens to Pearl Jam Radio frequently fill me in or at least give me a sliver of hope that this thing is going to happen? Please??? PLEASE?!?!
  • gorge for sure because of the legal cannabis. it only makes sense and colorado again PLEASE

    Wasn't PJ 25 this year? Didn't they celebrate PJ20 in 2011?

You can stop anytime. They're not going to base a tour around your precious cannabis states.
  • Forgot to post this yesterday:
Spoke to Tim after TOTD 2. I asked him about touring, especially regarding the Europe/Australia rumors. He said "there were some things planned, but were then cancelled, but could always be uncancelled. There's nothing planned right now."

Yah, I keep saying that too. Technically if you count Mookie Blaylock they've been a band since 1990, so the real PJ 25 was in 2015. I think the band counts it from when they became Pearl Jam and/or the release of 10, which made this year pj25. We got a tour this year, they just didn't make a big deal of the 25 years thing. Next year will be PJ26 so I don't think you'll see a 25th anniversary tour when that time has come and gone.

At this point I'm going to believe there's no tour in the works. Seems like it was this time the last couple years it was already announced or heavily rumored.
What about the possibility of an amphitheater run in August/September. Could be the reason for no leaked dates yet. Wishful thinking I suppose.

I don't think Pearl Jam will play shows until a new record is done. If they are recording early next year, a new record in fall 2017 could be possible (this would be a similar timeline to how Backspacer was recorded/released/toured).
    2003 - June 15 Fargo
    2005 - Sept 1 George, Sept 8 Winnipeg
2006 - May 9/10 Toronto, June 26/27 St. Paul, July 22/23 George, Oct 21/22 Mountain View
    2007 - Aug 2/5 Chicago
    2008 - June 22 Washington, June 24/25 New York
    2009 - Aug 21 Toronto, Aug 23/24 Chicago, Sept 21/22 Seattle, Oct 27/28/30/31 Philadelphia
    2010 - May 15 Hartford, May 17 Boston, Oct 23/24 Mountain View
2011 - Sept 3/4 Alpine Valley, Sept 11/12 Toronto, Sept 17 Winnipeg, Sept 19 Saskatoon
    2012 - Sept 30 Missoula
2013 - July 16 London, July 19 Chicago, Oct 12 Buffalo, Dec 2 Calgary, Dec 4 Vancouver, Dec 6 Seattle
    2014 - Oct 16 Detroit, Oct 19 St. Paul, Oct 20 Milwaukee
    2015 - Sept 23 (Colbert)/Sept 26, New York
    2016 - Apr 28/29 Philadelphia, May 10/12 Toronto, Aug 20/22 Chicago
  • I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm a little relieved if there's no tour that I could feasibly attend in the immediate future. Would love for others to get a chance (Europe, Australia). My bank account needs a break and the concert credits from hubby were all used up this year. Very grateful for this year and feeling filled up.

it seems to be pure speculation and guesswork though for now, and a very quiet 2017 in the works

A quiet 2017 would help me with my self-imposed PJ music hiatus. I've reached critical burnout risk (ha) and don't need the temptation of a tour. One show in 2017 would be ideal for me. I don't plan to listen to any PJ music until the next concert I go to. When taking a 3 song break to get merch is okay then I know I've gone to too many shows.

Im probably the minority on this one but I'm hoping for a small West Coast tour (preferably Alberta), I've missed all three shows I've had tickets to and would love to see them before a new album comes out that could prevent me from seeing more of the older tracks. Also I'd love to see Ed swinging from those balls aha looks like a great time, and based on the comments of the East Coast shows I'd love to see them with this insane energy they've been playing with.
    2016- TOTD Seattle Night 1+2
2018- Home Shows Night 1+2, Missoula

Dude def take a break and focus on other stuff in your life. Whenever I feel the obsession coming on hard (like maybe now... 2am post) just turn it all off and listen to other music and do other things. I've done this for a few years and it's SO nice going to a show without listening to much more than a few songs a week for months. Plus your bank account will thank you.

were going on 4 years since LB... dont be surprised if an album comes out early 2017 followed by a tour. they only did 1 show in 2016. i highly doubt they skipped the studio all year. 4 years is the longest span of any of the records
    2012 - MIA (Philly)
    2013 - Philly 1, philly 2, charlottesville,
    2015 - NYC (global citizen)
    2016 - Philly 1&2
    2022 - Camden

I posted this in another thread, but thought I would share here as well for those interested.

"The Rock on the Range presale (Password: RANGE17) and 99.7 The Blitz (Password: BLITZRANGE) presale are going on now here: http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/05005170EFB26ED6

Tickets are specially discounted for the presales at $199.50 for GA Field passes, $99.50 for GA Stadium, and $380 GA Stadium four-pack of tickets (prices exclude fees). Prices increase an average of $50 per ticket for GA Field and GA Stadium post-presale (they are selling 3 allotments of Price-Level tickets; once an allotment sells out, the Price-Level changes and ticket prices will increase)"

I don't post here often, but I thought I'd share some inside info. Maybe it has already been posted on here, but I don't feel like reading through entire thread. They will be touring in 2017 in Europe. Not sure dates yet. I believe it's summer based on what I was told. A friend of mine is directly connected to the band and told me way early of the east coast tour that happened earlier this year. I didn't ask which countries or exact dates. I didn't want to over step my bounds. Anyway, they will be playing Europe for sure. If i hear about U.S tour, I will relay that as well. Thanks.

Great news if it happens! Other than your post there doesn't seem to be much momentum building.
