    yeah I'm 0-EMEK.

I got a timestamp right on the hour. Perfect
just knew I'd get a variant.

    BUT no luck.

On the Queens set, my timestamp was 5 seconds after the hour and when I asked them what time my email was received it showed almost 2 minutes after the hour. She (his wife) said I wasn't even close.

I can't figure this shit out...I guess next time I send it off before the hour to allow it to get through earlier????????

    I don't know

It all appears to be random to me. My e-mail actually had a time stamp of 23:00:00, but it didn't get a variant, and to be honest, I thought that it was too early - I wasn't synced to time.apple.com.

The latest e-mail indicates that there's another one next week. I'm not sure my nerves can take it. Presumably it's this one though:

Saw this poster on the ebeans hot list today with 75 hits, and had to check the board to see if Lou was teasing the masses with another arbitrary link.

Lou, I got nervous that you had pulled a miracle out of ummm... the air, and I was going to have to part with my copy of this. :)

Of course now I'm going to be the cause of it moving up the ebeans list. LOL

It's too quiet around here now after the Vic & Lolla. Number 7, where are you sweetie!?!

I can't believe that either. Mine was free, since I just dragged my old ass out at midnight to the Virgin Megastore. Of course that makes it priceless to me.

Going for the blue or the silver? I kinda like the blue. I wasn't aware of Kinsey's work until the statue of liberty print caught my eye (you can take the gal out of NYC but.... yaddayaddayadda). Missed out on that one though.

Good luck to you for this one H !!

    Peace,

Nice grab Hollis. I agonized about it and decided to pass, need to save $$.

Did get this in email today though:

    "FYI
    Howdy folks,

Sorry to interrupt your day -

Just wanted to let everyone know that we caught another cheater who
tried to buy 4 10k Lakes posters under different aliases.

Bad news for him, good news for the next 4 people in line...

Pease do not email us about this,
the next 4 people in line will be notified shortly.

    Thank you,
    Emek and staff

We all know that art is not truth.
Art is a lie that makes us realize the truth. -picasso "

<sigh> unfortunately I must not have been among the next 4 in line.
  • wonder how soon shortly is?

  • I was wondering if any of you poster people have bought the Art Of Modern Rock Poster Book. And if so is it very good? Are there very many pj posters in there and are the pictures full page. I saw it on amazon but it didn't have that much info or pictures. Thanks.

  • Got Slater's new TOOL print today. Very cool, lots of details in the TVs.

I'm torn between this one or his Wings print as my favorite TOOL print of his. But maybe if I actually had the Wings print, it would be easier ot decide. ;)

I had not even noticed it till you pointed it out, I am a typical dude I do not notice shit like that.

I am amazed how close people on here look at location, # of post, and espically signature all stuff I do not even see on the page.

I'm trying to notice more I promise ;)

got mine yesterday..I was really impressed, If it were a PJ print, I could see it being a hot item. I love the "faux news channel" in the TV. Anybody else appreciate the way Slater ships his posters, he includes a protective acid free sleeve, I wish Ames did that.

the Faux News Channel is from http://www.dumbgun.com

They have the best t-shirts, I own a Faux News shirt, it kicks ass.

I would also like to add that Slater shipping in the polyethelene bag is the SHIT!!!!! Snagged the Tool and Ben poster and was happy with both.
