That looks brutal. The Lexington merch line was so well organized. This one, not so much.

Seems like there a ton of people now willing to support the flippers instead of waiting in a long line. (Not to single you out Mayday, just been seeing that same comment all over)
Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

So how long do you think the lines will be at Wrigley? Not looking forward to waiting in that line at all... Might just pay the premium flipper costs...

Its true though. Its not me (and others). Its this 'system' this band/company have facilitated. This extremely limited supply and this tense distribution system they implement. They have intentionally made this a 'seller's market'

For one, I will buy/accumulate a lot less. Im only getting things I 'need' like a poster to a show I attend. MSGs for instance. Instead of waiting around like an asshole all day long then pushing and shoving through that chaos, with no guarantees of success... Ill gladly pay a higher price later to not do that.

Looks to me like the venue dropped the ball in regulating the line. In St Paul (my only experience with the merch truck) there was a single file line and a security guy there making sure it stayed that way. This just looks like the same cluster fuck you find at merch tables inside the venue where anything goes!

i would be fine waiting a couple of hours if i knew i would get what i wanted. it's the waiting and then posters selling out that makes me just pay the premium or go without. it has gotten really crazy.

That looks bad. The battle of the umbrellas. 3 years ago it was on orderly single file line at the truck.

Sounds like my Lexington experience. Got in merch line at 12:15, to the front at 3:00, posters sold out right in front of my eyes (literally watched the guy walk off with the last one).

  • Last show I went to was Denver. Didn't wait outside, inside was sold out of all the city specific stuff. I was patient and was able to get stickers, a pin, a shirt, and the poster after the show over the following 8 months. Without really paying any extra on ebay just through trades and kind people (and lucking out to get the poster here when it went on sale). Was worth it.
