    REPUBLICANS FREED THE SLAVES!
What a joke.. It amazes me that people can be so ignorant with history that they actually try to use this nonsense.

Any sane person that spends 5 minutes reading a history book can tell you about the Dixiecrats leaving the Democratic Party during Civil Rights ( Look up Strom Thurrman). The GOP have courted that segment since Goldwater... through Palin...and now Trump/Cruz.

I get a special chuckle when I hear Cruz speak about "Great Americans like Lincoln and John F. Kennedy"... Both LIBERALS..

Anyone thinking there are not violent hoodlums and innocent supporters on both sides of this rift is fooling themselves. No surprise that we see Coulter doing it.

From here on out, I agree, but there were weeks of incidents with violent idiots on the one side only.
Are you referring to BLM extremists?
Oh, come on, get real. This is no joke.
What do you mean? Who would BLM violent protesters be voting for? I would say that the extremists in that movement (not all BLM members) are racists, right? The ones shouting "kill whitey"?
What does that have to do with the incidents at Trump rallies? Who has been violent with whom? I'm not talking about slogans like "kill whitey", I'm talking about violence. Assault.
I don't know why I am engaging in this, you know exactly what is happening and you are trying to distract from the issue.

Trump has no problems with black people.
He doesn't like illegals and wants to stop muslims for awhile.
So this protester is not reflective of Trump.
Trump wouldn't allow black people to rent in his buildings and was sued. He settled.

An Open Letter to Donald Trump:

    Mr. Trump,

I try my hardest not to be political. I’ve refused to interview several of your fellow candidates. I didn’t want to risk any personal goodwill by appearing to take sides in a contentious election. I thought: ‘Maybe the timing is not right.’ But I realize now that there is no correct time to oppose violence and prejudice. The time is always now. Because along with millions of Americans, I’ve come to realize that opposing you is no longer a political decision. It is a moral one.

I’ve watched you retweet racist images. I’ve watched you retweet racist lies. I’ve watched you take 48 hours to disavow white supremacy. I’ve watched you joyfully encourage violence, and promise to ‘pay the legal fees’ of those who commit violence on your behalf. I’ve watched you advocate the use of torture and the murder of terrorists’ families. I’ve watched you gleefully tell stories of executing Muslims with bullets dipped in pig blood. I’ve watched you compare refugees to ‘snakes,’ and claim that ‘Islam hates us.’

I am a journalist, Mr. Trump. And over the last two years I have conducted extensive interviews with hundreds of Muslims, chosen at random, on the streets of Iran, Iraq, and Pakistan. I’ve also interviewed hundreds of Syrian and Iraqi refugees across seven different countries. And I can confirm— the hateful one is you.

Those of us who have been paying attention will not allow you to rebrand yourself. You are not a ‘unifier.’ You are not ‘presidential.’ You are not a ‘victim’ of the very anger that you’ve joyfully enflamed for months. You are a man who has encouraged prejudice and violence in the pursuit of personal power. And though your words will no doubt change over the next few months, you will always remain who you are.

    Sincerely,
    Brandon Stanton

True, that's standard fare for consents. But it's also true that you don't sign consents until after you've exhausted your dismissal options and are likely headed for trial. Signing a consent is usually a pragmatic decision to pay a fine because either A. The cost to defend is exorbitant or B. You stand a solid chance to lose the case.

It's also instructive that his counterclaim was dismissed pretty quickly. Either way, you can guess this will show up on some TV ads at some point.

    Sign the petition!

WE PETITION THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION TO:
Arrest and prosecute Donald J. Trump for incitement to violence. Legal precedent: Brandenburg v. Ohio.

Donald J. Trump has been inciting violent acts amongst his supporters. He should be arrested and prosecuted for this. Legal precedent: Brandenburg v. Ohio. To wit, the Court held that government cannot punish inflammatory speech.

UNLESS that speech is directed to inciting, and is likely to incite, imminent lawless action.

Clearly, he is doing exactly that.

Unfortunately, I think it would grow his popularity if this went through.

The idea is not for the petition to succeed, but to give hope by showing how many of us won't accept the thought of Trump as our president.

A petition demanding the sitting President of the United States, a Democrat, arrest and prosecute the Republican front runner to serve as his successor is a very bad idea.

Personally, I'd like to see him arrested. How is this even happening as publicly as it is with zero repercussions for Trump's actions? You know he will continue this.

Not if he breaks the law, and is inciting public violence.

Authorities consider charging Trump with inciting violence at rally

JUST IN: North Carolina police considering filing charges against Trump for potentially inciting a riot

    http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/272923-authorities-consider-charging-trump-with-inciting
Authorities in North Carolina are considering whether to press charges against GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump after a protester was assaulted during one of his rallies in Fayetteville, according to WRAL.com.

The Cumberland County sheriff’s office, while conducting an investigation into the sucker-punch and alleged threats against the protester, went over the speech that Trump gave during the rally “with a fine-tooth comb,” WRAL reporter Gilbert Baez told MSNBC News.

“During their analysis of that speech, there were several instances where Trump made comments that incited the folks to continue the violent acts during that rally,” Baez said.

Protester Rakeem Jones was being escorted out of the rally last week when he was sucker-punched.

John Franklin McGraw was arrested the following day and charged with assaulting a protester and disorderly conduct, according to a press release from the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
Trump said Sunday he is looking into paying McGraw's legal fees.

“I’m going to look at it. I’m going to see, you know, what was behind this, because it was a strange event. But from what I heard, there was a lot of taunting and a certain finger was placed in the air. Not nice,” Trump told NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

Trump has since denied that there is violence at his rallies.
