Economic speech was strong, well I would hope so considering that is his main selling point. 35% tariff on vehicles coming in from Mexico to be sold in the states...ouch

But, you know...don't let the facts get in the way of a good line during a stump speech
Not sure what you mean here The Juggler. Do you mean that he didn't mention how it's only their small cars? If so, I wouldn't consider that a particularly relevant omission. I would view Ford's move as a first step. I wouldn't be surprised if they moved more of their manufacturing out of the US over time. Technically, Trump has a good point. Manufacturing certainly shouldn't continue to move out of the country. However, the problem is that Trump has been completely in favour of this tactic if it means that it makes him money. So how can he now say that he opposes it? He cares about the bottom line more than the well-being of Americans just as much as Ford. He's just saying what voters want to hear. At the same time, voters want cheaper cars and cheaper everything else. Quite a conundrum, no?

So now it's just not hyperbole, we are actually going to die when Trump becomes President (aside from the fact that rolling back a lot of the current regulations wouldn't pass).
I doubt that the Ford move would be much of a differentiator in the election. If this was a debate topic, neither candidate would be in support of it. I'm not sure I'm in support of a tariff though. Will the same apply to the cars made in Windsor?
I'm also curious how many cars that Ford sells in Mexico. What would a 35% tariff do in terms of a trade war the other way? Would Ford end up selling few cars and employing fewer Americans because of it?
That's what I don't get. They say the deplorables are "hard working Americans" and other super patriotic terms, but they're racist, sexist, etc. Someone can be a hard working American and still be a racist, and being a hard working American doesn't negate their racism.

In fact, some work very hard at penetrating the American psyche to push the White Supremacist viewpoint. That's not only a hard working American, but a hard working racist!

I actually opened that expecting it to be not as bad as the headline suggests, but in fact it was worse, lol. He wants to reduce the rules that hurt the economy??? That's almost all of the rules!

By the time he's done being president we will have smoking back everywhere ...lol now I almost want him to win just to see how fast it all comes crashing down !!

Does someone need to send him a copy of the Jungle by Upton Sinclair? Has he learned nothing studying the past 100 years? This might be his most absurd comment today.
There are five living presidents, 3 Democrat and 2 Republican. Not a single one has said Trump is fit to be President.
Bush 41's silence is particularly telling: In 1996, Bush stood by Bob Dole, a longtime political rival, to offer Dole a hearty endorsement in his campaign against President Bill Clinton. Obviously Bush 41 campaigned for his son, George W. Bush, in 2000 and 2004. In 2008, both Bushes came forward to support eventual Republican nominee U.S. Sen. John McCain of Arizona, well before McCain formally clinched the nomination. And in 2012, at age 87, the elder Bush came out swinging once again for Mitt Romney in a glowing interview on CNN.
He can't even get endorsements from the other Republican Presidential candidates who signed a pledge to support the Republican nominee.

I know....it's insane. There are truly enough racists and xenophobes to make this a race.

So he still won't admit that he was wrong about birther notions about Obama , what a fool
will that birther crap ever go away, way to fall for the bait
if Trump would just say he was wrong no one would ever ask him about it again, but his ego just won't let him say it so he 'just doesn't talk about it anymore'.

Exactly all he needed to do was state that after all he was wrong about Obama and this wouldn't even be in the discussion, his the idiot that took the bait ...
The media created him...they need to uncreate him. If Trump wants a reality tv show, let's have reality take over. He hides too much about himself and lies and it's time to shine the bright light on everything about him. It's the Presidency. It's time.

Replace Trump with Hillary and subtract reality tv show and that statement is 100% accurate
You cant accuse Trump of hiding stuff when you have 30 years of the biggest fraud running for President
That is your mistaken humble opinion. I've watched for decades and don't buy into all that smear some people relish. That's not the candidate I see and I've been watching. Have a great weekend though.

The media didn't create Hillary. She was FLOTUS, got herself elected as a senator from New York and was Secretary of State. The media doesn't create that kind of track record, whether you like her/dislike her, support her or not or agree/disagree with her policies. If anything, the media, particularly the alt-right media, has been trying to destroy her for the past 25 years.

he left out the fact it was small cars? that's the issue you take up with that?
if so that's a little petty because he gives enough reasons to attack we don't need to go that route

This should be a huge story. Trump uses foundation money (donated by someone else) to pay for a portrait of himself.
Now...just imagine if Clinton had done this
