    https://broadly.vice.com/en_us/article/he-raped-me-when-donald-trump-was-accused-of-sexual-assault

And let's not forget this gem. To follow the right wingers pattern we should say that Donald is a convicted rapist.
In Lost Tycoon: The Many Lives of Donald J. Trump, author Harry Hurt III recounts the testimony Ivana Trump gave during her and Donald Trump's divorce in the early 90s. According to Hurt's retelling of it, Ivana relayed a horribly violent incident that, during the testimony, she called "rape."

Shortly after the Daily Beast article was published, Gawker posted photos of the pages in the book, now out of print, describing the incident. Hurt's text portrays the alleged assault as a reaction to a scalp reduction surgery gone wrong. "Your doctor fucking ruined me!" Donald allegedly yelled, before tearing out Ivana's hair "by the handful, as if he is trying to make her feel the same kind of pain he is feeling."

    The passage continues:

He rips off her clothes and unzips his pants. Then he jams his penis inside of her for the first time in more than sixteen months.

Ivana is terrified. This is not lovemaking. This is not romantic sex. It is a violent assault. She later describes what The Donald is doing to her in no uncertain terms. According to the versions she repeats to some of her closest confidantes, 'He raped me.'

A subsequent statement from Ivana Trump, published on the first page of Lost Tycoon and as a footnote to this passage, expressed that she did not mean the word rape in a "literal or criminal sense." However, she did not contradict the other facts of the story. "During a deposition given by me in connection with my matrimonial case, I stated that my husband had raped me," the statement begins. It continues:

[O]n one occasion during 1989, Mr. Trump and I had marital relations in which he behaved very differently toward me than he had during our marriage. As a woman, I felt violated, as the love and tenderness, which he normally exhibited towards me, was absent. I referred to this as a 'rape,' but I do not want my words to be interpreted in a literal or criminal sense.

According to the Daily Beast article, Donald Trump denied the allegations, as well as having scalp reduction surgery. Trump's lawyer, Michael Cohen, responded to the Daily Beast's request for comment by viciously attacking the reporter, Tim Mak, threatening to "ruin [Mak's] life." More disturbingly, Cohen also claimed (falsely) that it is impossible to rape your spouse. After the piece was published—Cohen's incendiary comments and all—Ivana Trump released another statement, affirming that she and Donald were "the best of friends" and saying that her own story was "totally without merit."

At the time, much of the political establishment didn't believe Trump would be a serious candidate, but the story did get picked up by other media outlets. But when Tim Mak was brought on the MSNBC show Morning Joe to discuss the article, host Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski provided a long list of reasons to disregard the story—none of which related to the fact that Trump was not taken seriously.

"People get really angry in divorces, they say a lot of things in divorces, high-profile divorces, especially," Scarborough reasoned. Brzezinski was even less willing to consider the story. "It's not interesting, and it's not even part of the conversation, and it's stupid," she said.

Mak was onscreen for only a few moments, which was still long enough for him to point out the troubling fact that Trump's lawyer had denied the existence of spousal rape. He was quickly shooed away. "It's better for us to thank you for coming and slowly step away from this segment," Scarborough said.

That's not my mission. That's preaching to the choir.

I'm trying to guide everyone to rid themselves of government and stop worshipping it. Live your lives free. My work here is to help leftists find freedom, as there is not much demand here to show neocons the light of personal liberty.

    Who's worshipping government?

It's a necessity. It's far fetched at best to think countries, in the modern era, can revert to simpler times and local economies.

I'm sorry for your two presidential candidates, but given the choices... Clinton is the obvious selection. It's not even close. And that fact goes to show you how dysfunctional the Republican party has grown: Homer Simpson could have beat Clinton... the Republican party couldn't feature a candidate more qualified than Homer Simpson.
You saw that as if I'm supposed to consider it a dig at me. Again, not really that important to me. Just wondering how it'll be if Homer beats her.
This was not a dig at you. I disagree with your idea of a nation sans government- it's far fetched and unrealistic- but I appreciate your opinion.

If anything... this was a dig at the Republican party. In an election where a win was within their grasp... they managed to blow it by featuring a cartoon character. It's hard to be that inept.

If they win... well I guess real estate in Canada is going to get a bump.

“The Republican nominee for president has no government experience and has done nothing in his career to demonstrate that he is competent to be president,” Tuttle said in a statement. “He has made repeated misstatements and inaccurate statements. He has insulted minorities, women, a war hero and Gold Star parents. He is unqualified and unfit to be president. I have never voted for a Democrat but I will vote for Secretary Clinton.”
Tuttle’s support comes two days after Clinton’s campaign announced its Together for America initiative, the Democratic presidential nominee’s effort to attract Republicans and independents.
With Trump as the Republican Party’s standard-bearer, Clinton’s campaign has touted the growing number of Republicans and former GOP officials who have flocked to her campaign, including the former Republican Cabinet secretaries announced Wednesday.

If Together for America involves Clinton being my leader, to heck with that. If it involves a certain clown having a bowling pin related incident that removes his clown powers, then I'm all in.

not sure why this would be such a big surprise. Bernie didn't either, but he was upfront about it. I'm sure Hillary has a staffer who writes some. it really doesn't matter to me either way. But interesting how they can find this shit out:

data scientist concludes Trump doesn't write half his tweets:

Yeah, I saw that the other day. I actually assumed that was how it usually works, although normally the actual person would write way fewer tweets than Trump actually does, if any at all. Some even have a specific signature for the tweets they write personally so that readers know the difference (I know Michelle Obama does that). It never even occurred to me that people like this write their own tweets exclusively. And it doesn't surprise me one bit that the insane tweets are Trump's and the non-insane ones are written by a staffer. That is completely obvious if you read them. We all know that Trump isn't capable of being even-keeled.

this is different. impostors with an conservative agenda dressed as a pimp went in under hidden camera to catch ACORN in any potential wrongdoing. this was a james okeefe special. he pleaded guilty to unlawfully entering government property and ALMOST went to jail for it.

the video i posted is a bunch of trump voters brought in to review commercials. they did not enter with a hidden camera to smear triumph. big difference.

I hate to say it, but they seemed very real to me. Too real. Watching the video, I actually feel sorry for a few of these people. I felt like maybe they had been cheated out of a decent education, that they might be otherwise good people who are just clueless because they were never taught any kind of critical thinking or good judgement skills. Sad, really.

the american people are speaking loudly in polls. they are saying that a party with a mantra of division, hate, racism, misogyny, and xenophobia is not a majority party. if the election were held today, the dems would not only win the white house, but the house and senate too. and i believe if that happens they would reform the filibuster, and then the country could move forward with a more progressive agenda.

a party with trump as the leader, a party that is anti government yet filled with people who want to run to government, that has done nothing but drag its feet and refuse to legislate for 7 years deserves to be rejected.

"No trying-to-be objective and fair journalist, no citizen who cares about the country and its future can ignore what Donald Trump said today. When he suggested that "The Second Amendment People" can stop Hillary Clinton he crossed a line with dangerous potential. By any objective analysis, this is a new low and unprecedented in the history of American presidential politics. This is no longer about policy, civility, decency or even temperament. This is a direct threat of violence against a political rival. It is not just against the norms of American politics, it raises a serious question of whether it is against the law. If any other citizen had said this about a Presidential candidate, would the Secret Service be investigating?

Candidate Trump will undoubtably issue an explanation; some of his surrogates are already engaged in trying to gloss it over, but once the words are out there they cannot be taken back. That is what inciting violence means.

To anyone who still pretends this is a normal election of Republican against Democrat, history is watching. And I suspect its verdict will be harsh. Many have tried to do a side-shuffle and issue statements saying they strongly disagree with his rhetoric but still support the candidate. That is becoming woefully insufficient. The rhetoric is the candidate.

This cannot be treated as just another outrageous moment in the campaign. We will see whether major newscasts explain how grave and unprecedented this is and whether the headlines in tomorrow's newspapers do it justice. We will soon know whether anyone who has publicly supported Trump explains how they can continue to do.

We are a democratic republic governed by the rule of law. We are an honest, fair and decent people. In trying to come to terms with today's discouraging development the best I can do is to summon our greatest political poet Abraham Lincoln for perspective:

"We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained it must not break our bonds of affection. The mystic chords of memory, stretching from every battlefield and patriot grave to every living heart and hearthstone all over this broad land, will yet swell the chorus of the Union, when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature."

Lincoln used these stirring words to end his First Inaugural Address. It was the eve of the Civil War and sadly his call for sanity, cohesion and peace was met with horrific violence that almost left our precious Union asunder. We cannot let that happen again."

    This video is hilarious.
It's also hilarious because you think the supporters portrayed are as real as the video.

um, those ARE real trump supporters. they are from ohio and were brought in as part of a focus group to have them review new potential campaign ads.
Sad, really.
i don't feel sorry for them at all. they are a product of single source news, ie, fox news network. they should be embarrassed.
Well, in some ways yes, I hear you. The thing is, they don't strike me as particularly intelligent people but even so, if they had been taught some critical thinking skills I would hope they wouldn't make such idiotic remarks and be so horribly gullible. Maybe I'm being to idealist and perhaps I give to much credence to the power of education. But how else can we explain someone like Trump getting as far as he has in American politics? Something is serious wrong (i.e., fucked up) with this country.

The fact that Triumph, The Insult Comic Dog is to be given credibility for any skit he produces is funny. It is akin to Jaywalking when Jay Leno talks to Americans and asks them common sense questions in which they fail miserably to answer.
The skit was funny and the people were real right? Does this mean we are to believe that all Americans portrayed on Jaywalking are as moronic as those interviewed?
It was produced for TV comical ratings, it's what Triumph does.
It was a very funny skit though just not representative of all Trump supporters.

And who's been in charge of the education system for the vast majority of the US population, government ... which is always democrat or republican...not so sure anyone party is to blame, the democrats benefit from poorly educated, just as the republicans do ... both parties benefit from indoctrination, your countries as mine does benefits from indoctrination ... I would say its easier to indoctrinate the poorly educated and lets not kid ourselves our governments benefit by indoctrinating enough people.
I have certain rules I live by ... My First Rule ... I don't believe anything the government tells me ... George Carlin
