    OP/Tim....
Holy smokes, thanks for the heads-up. What a trifecta of music! :flushed: I mentioned the Wilco show to my two PJ travel buds...one of them is all over it, the other one isn't interested. Gotta figure out how to convince my one bud that Wilco puts on a helluva a show and that we need to be at Pritzker :pensive:

I think the $150 price is for the Jeff Tweedy benefit show at The Vic...
I'm thinking the Wilco show will be around $65 for pavilion seats and $30 -$40 for lawn seats!

Wilco Pritzker is $30 for lawn and $75-85 for pavilion. Plus fees.

No way this doesn't sell out in 15 minutes. Wilco is huge in Chicago. Any rock concert at Pritzker is a huge draw. Do the math people

I am shocked that there are still Jeff Tweedy tickets left @$75 for GA.

for real... I almost prefer the Tweedster solo to the whole band nowadays.
It has been years since the east coast got a proper solo show. I cant believe there are still GA tickets left.

My friend asked if I wanted to go to this in between the PJ shows. Hate to admit it, but I had to look up who these guys are on YouTube.

this is the biggest kick in the nuts for me... my 2 favorite bands in the same weekend... 2 weeks before my wife is due...

anybody that skips a wilco show as no idea what they are missing... just go and let Nels and Glenn turn you into a fan for life...

last show I saw here in Houston had tickets in the 3rd row, directly between Nels and Jeff... my face was melted off during impossible germany....
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

They're the last great american rock band outside of pearl jam..a true touring band you can still see in small venues almost anywhere. I wouldn't doubt Ed showing up. He has ties with nels I think from the watchtower release. It's not needed by any means..wilco can bring it alone.. But would be cool if Ed sang misunderstood hahaha

Wilco is one of the best live bands out there.....makes me wish I would have planned the trek to Chicago for the Wrigley shows. I suggest everyone go see Wilco!

This news makes it even more imperative that I get to Chicago in August. I saw some of Wilco's recent shows and they are on fire. I've been seeing Wilco since 1997 and have never seen them do a hometown show…that needs to end this August.

Looking at pictures of that venue, it looks like you could just stand outside the pavilion and lawn on either side and probably hear the show and see just as well as the $30 tickets for the lawn. Would that be a correct assumption or is there a bunch of security that blocks the whole area around? I'm just curious in case I decide to attend later this summer and the show is sold out.

Yeah, that's correct. You won't get to the sidewalk around the Pavillion (there will be ticket gates as well as vendors). But you will be able to chill out on the pedestrian bridge or just beyond the gates to hear. And it will be pretty audible.

Oh well, will be awesome nonetheless.
