A poster preorder for 10c members with secured 10c tickets is a great idea! I agree that the merc lines are crazy. My son and I waited for 3.5 hours in Lexington. I can't imagine waiting on line for either Wrigley show. Fingers crossed this gets consideration.
you guys did see they posted the merch schedule for Fenway right.... Tues, closed Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat, and Sun. Still praying for a pre-order of some kind coming with the ticket confirmation email...

I was in that line with some friends. For us, it was about 3 hours and 15 minutes. We didn't have another place to be at the time and we had a good time. Didn't seem that long.

It can't hurt to dream, BUMP! (Of course, there are some who would argue otherwise . . . )

PJ should take a page from their new best friends at Third Man... Here's what TMR is doing for an upcoming event...sounds like they haven't exactly worked the process out yet:
To avoid waiting in line and be a part of the party at Third Man Cass Corridor and in Nashville’s Blue Room, Third Man Records will offer a limited number of the STELLAR TICKET, which grants access to entertainment and guarantees a bag set aside with your name on it containing each exclusive merch item and a copy of the record. STELLAR TICKETS are not yet for sale, and further details will be announced mid-week.

This type of idea would be best for all parties I think. I get that logistically it's a nightmare for 10C to try and roll/pack/ship posters, etc. But you should be able to pre-purchase a set package of stuff (to keep it simple) and then there can be pick up station at the shows. Just stop and show ID or whoever and grab the bag. Little more work...yes, but it's promised money in their till and the fans can enjoy their day instead of rotting in line.

Guns and Roses did this for their entire tour. You could but most of the tour items online and pick it up at a table at the venue. Only the show specific items were not included. But I would guess that is an easy fix. And they did it for all stadium shows.
...got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...

The issue at hand is that 10C wants this frenzy. From a business/marketing standpoint it's genius. Harder it is to get, the more people want it. Limited quantiles means higher demand and never having leftovers. I'm quite sure they don't want to mess with this proven way of doing things regardless of our thoughts.

Exactly. People act like this hasn't been carefully thought about and planned by the band and 10C. This is exactly how they want things.

With a cubbie home stand through Thursday. Pre-sale just too easy. Sorry Fenway, you get a week of merch. Wrigley will take the 5 poster Wrigley pack $200 and call it a day. Pick up or shipped after, just take our money.

that would be ideal. The lines would be shorter for t-shirts/pins/ect and we wouldn't have to 1. Bake for hours 2. Miss out on Chicago 3. Worry about damaging/losing said poster while jamming out for 3+ hrs.
I would love the pre order but i honestly think that 10c doesn't want to deal with the extra headache of pulling this off. From their point of view, its working perfectly. They want to sell merch and it's all being sold. Why jump through extra hoopes. Hopefully the added days of sales in BOS will thin out the lines a bit.

More days to be able to just jump back in line.......that is how it will really go down.
