I booked the Boston Park Plaza, as well. Mostly because its slim pickins at this point. Looks a little run down from the reviews on Trip Advisor, but I only plan on sleeping there.

Anyone who thinks this place is run down is either ridiculously wealthy or absurdly high maintenance. Trust me, IT IS NOT. POTUS stayed there last time he was in town.

Agreed. I've never heard of anyone ever say the Park Plaza is rundown.

Boston trains stop at 1 still I believe. You can literally walk across the city in an hour so I wouldn't worry.
    Stop at 12:30 AM.

I've found a good refundable rate at Hotel 140 in Back Bay on booking.com. Reviews on tripadvisor are good, and it's less than a 30 minutes walk from Fenway.

I booked a suite at the Copley House, only because it has free cancellation. If something pops up on airbnb I'll probably cancel but so far nothing cheap enough.

Copley House was $230 a night for a suite. Any input on this place? Reviews seem pretty good.

I thought Philly was bad for hotel prices, but wow. We really wanted a hotel or air bnb, but both options are looking too expensive. Luckily I have a friend in Brookline who has some space for us. Will be keeping an eye out though, hopefully something good on air bnb will open up.

Same here. Just a place to rest my head. Easy T ride or nice walk to Fenway

Sounds like there will be a few of us at the hotel...

Looking at hotels in the theater district/beacon hill area. Our first time in Boston, so is it a good spot between tourist stops and fenway? We can walk a few miles to/from the show if need be.

Just booked room at Hotel Commonwealth. Looks like they are charging a bit more that weekend than normal but I might just be bad at math.

Yeah -- classy place. Me and my wife love it there. Usually way too expensive during peak times, but a really elegant place to stay.

I got an Airbnb for my self and my family (2 adults and 3 kids) for $500 for 2 nights. We are going to make a family weekend of it and mommy gets to see a concert too! The place is supposed to be just "steps from Fenway". Very excited! It'll be very nice to have the convenience of a kitchen and space to stretch out so close by. I'm hoping I'll be safe to walk back after by myself. :confounded:

We booked a fenway room at the hotel commonwealth. Worth the $ for a sneak peek of the sound check and a view of the merchant lines. Staying Fri-Mon. $1500.

How about the elephant in the room. What about parking? As I and my wife will be driving in and then out after the show to my friend's house out of town.

Good question and one i would like to know.

Where is a good place to park, that's not too far to walk to Fenway, but is also a easy route back out to the Mass. TP?

Totally fine. Absolutely a safe area. At least act like you know where you're going and nobody will bother you.

Booked the Sheraton Boston in back bay for $230 a night through a trip advisor special.

Thanks for the info, just booked the same. Looks like a great location, convenient to Fenway as well as the sightseeing spots.

During Red Sox games the Sheraton Boston in back bay always had parking for $15-20. Might be worth giving them a call at some point and see if they offer the same during concerts. About a 10 minute walk to Fenway and easy access to Mass pike.

I've used the Prudential Center Garage for games at Fenway before. 10-15 min walk, close to the highway. Usually runs specials during games, not sure about concerts.

Garage at 100 Clarendon is about a 20 minute walk but the prices are good and it has a ramp directly on to the Pike westbound.

Also the garage at 101 Clarendon is great for easy on/easy off the Mass Pike. This one is a little further away from Fenway but right in Copley Square. Prob 20-25 min walk or a short green line ride from the show.

If you're driving to Boston, might be worth parking outside the city at a T stop and take the T in
