Bill Clinton running around the world making promises in smoke-filled rooms would become a fact of life in any Hillary Clinton administration.

No different from Republicans and we keep social progress from going backwards.
The difference is I expect more from the Democrats.
    Why.they are still politicians?Still take$$$

Careful, rr, you're starting to sound like a Bernie fan!

Hillary's campaign enlisting a polling firm to prove Bernie did not in fact win Latinos in Nevada.

Reid with the help from DNC buried Bernie with union support in NV. Expect the same to continue thru next Tuesday.
The "Democratic" nominee was pre-determined 8 years ago.

Yep. Reid delivered the culinary union to Clinton, the culinary union delivered Las Vegas to Clinton, and Las Vegas delivered Nevada to Clinton.

So many smoke filled rooms, so little time. These are the Democrats in 2016.

Recent history has shown the GOP to be the party of candidates whose turn it is while the Democrats have had more of a contest. It was Romney's turn in 2012, McCain's by default in 2008, Bush II in 2000, Dole in 1996, Bush I in 1988. The Dems meanwhile have seen Obama, Kerry, and Bill Clinton all rise up from the ranks.

That script is completely flipped this time around. The GOP cannot get rid of Trump while the Dems are anointing Hillary. History dictates the opposite would be true.

    Speaking of right wing lunacy:

The CIA is “a dangerous institution that has got to go,” Sanders told an audience in Vermont in October 1974. He described the agency as a tool of American corporate interests that repeatedly toppled democratic leaders—including, he said, Iran's Mosaddegh. The agency was accountable to no one, he fumed, "except right-wing lunatics who us it to prop up fascist dictatorships."

For those tuned into the "English only" spectacle in NV. Interesting read about same women from NV caucus 2008.

She's out here today for three fundraisers. Fingers crossed that our already-fucked up LA traffic isn't moreso.

She isn't bringing droves of people, that's what Bernie does.

Does this all end with a Hillary/Bernie unity ticket? If not, who are some of the prospective VP candidates?

Elizabeth Warren is sure to be on both shortlists as a courtesy but won't be chosen.

I'd be shocked if either of them would even consider the VP.
More surprised if Bernie, both have too much integrity.

Makes you so sure that she wouldn't be chosen?

She maybe chosen but given her stance on wall street and big banks I'd be shocked if she accepted.
They couldn't be further apart on those issues not to mention the dignity spectrum.

Don't think they will push a ticket of either a) two women or b) two liberal senators from New England. In fact I would be stunned if either happened.

Been cool if he asked her before the primaries and she accepted and campaigned.
