Bands you know are good,by popularity but you just don't like

Not a topic to be cotraversual or offend but was wondering what bands you know are good by sales ,popularity and stood the test of time therefore respect for that but you simply don't like their music
Not knocking the fans who do like ,but a few for me are
The Beatles (bore me senseless but like some songs other bands have covered)
Rolling Stones(Angie and Wild Horses are great, full stop for me there)
Good Charlotte (WTF)
Oasis (rather hear the sound of my own firing squad)
Black Sabbath (ozzy's voice I just can't stand it)
Bon Jovi (Some good 80's songs but beyond, yer)

Obviously their are bands that are just crap but you get what I mean,I have tried so hard to get into the music of the bands I listed but just can't but do totally respect the footprint the have in music history,if these bands work do it for you, that's great ,I am not knocking your taste at all
Interested to read some others,cheers

Kiss - Ramones are the band they WISH they were.
    Steve Miller Band
Styx - I'm a sucker for some good corporate rock like Journey and Foreigner of that era but this one doesn't do it for me.
most indie rock flavors of the moment of the past decade and a half with a few exceptions like Black Keys and Arcade Fire
Linkin Park - They're basically a Deftones wannabe.
Coldplay - Martin jumped the shark when he started sucking up to kiddie pop crap like Beyonce and Rihanna. Most pathetic sellout since Bono and Steven Tyler.

Since when are Good Charlotte popular? They haven't been relevant since the early to mid 00s. Nobody talks about them anymore since Fallout Boy replaced them.

My morning jacket is the generational band that I can't get in to. Seen them multiple times and don't get it. Even when Timmy Tames is covering songs I love I am apathetic (even Tribute To and especially "Sleepyhouse").

Also, bonus band "hate": coheed & cambria. Both of them. Neither of them. Whatever.

  • Alice in Chains- can't change the station fast enough when one of their songs comes on.
  • I agree with The Beatles. I don't deny their impact, I just hate when most of their music hits my eardrums. I also can't stand Beyonce. It killed me when her and Ed did Redemption Song, which is one of my fav Marley songs. Unlistenable.

That's cool, they're just as many that hate the band that also love the band.

Ac/dc - you like this song, you'll like the next one too IMO. Just never got into that first song I guess. If I hear them on radio I'll turn it most of the time.

The eagles - like them well enough I guess, lots of good songs. I don't understand how they got "that big". And them ushering in $100 tickets didn't help my opinion of them either.

I like a few songs and have seen them live. It just doesn't grab me the way a PJ show does.

    Just... freaking... horrendous.

Everytime I hear a Phish song I think "No, no this can't be real. No one can enjoy listening to this."

It's so bad that I am mildly entertained by like half a song before I lose my mind.
