Random Thoughts take II

I absolutely, positively, without a doubt, undeniably mega-loathe the automated speak-your-answer prompts!! Why can't I just press 1? Why do I have to sit here an utter random words and sound like a buffoon?? Then most of the time it doesn't understand what you said and you have to repeat yourself, or it takes you to a whole other menu. Ugh. Businesses just need to stop with those damn things. And what happened to pressing 0 to get a live representative? Seems like almost every business has now blocked that.
I hate calling anywhere for anything. Something that could - and SHOULD - only take 30 seconds takes 9 minutes because I have to sit here and say one word prompts over and over.Star Lake 00 / Pittsburgh 03 / State College 03 / Bristow 03 / Cleveland 06 / Camden II 06 / DC 08 / Pittsburgh 13 / Baltimore 13 / Charlottesville 13 / Cincinnati 14 / St. Paul 14 / Hampton 16 / Wrigley I 16 / Wrigley II 16 / Baltimore 20 / Camden 22 / Baltimore 24 / Raleigh I 25 / Raleigh II 25 / Pittsburgh I 250 -

Would be funny, except that the planes that carry the shuttles are significantly modified so that it's possible. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0

Hey hey hey now. Lol. The phone itself isn't Android. Lol but I'm sure you already aware. Samsung is the way to go! Every time.
And second of all.....Oh please let it rain today.

I love my Samsung with Android. It has never failed me. Maybe you got a defective phone or something??With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0

Or he rooted it...gotta be careful if you root an android. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

For sure! Some automated menus are voice activated and that's when I just start repeating over and over, "Operator, operator operator, operator..." until their little wires start to fry!ldent42 said:

I know what you mean, Hedo. The one good thing about the power going out is living by candle light."It's a sad and beautiful world"-Roberto Benigni0

Though I do agree with B on the overall candlelight perspective. It's why I buy them in bulk.0
