Hey all you Bernie supporters, you might want to tell your boy to learn how to shake someone's have like someone who has a pair of balls. I just got done working his appearance in Chicago and he came right up to my partner and I and shook our hands for doing our thing. I know he is older than dirt, but talk about a wet noodle cold and clammy hand shake....It felt like the way the queen of England would shake your hand. Atleast Hillary has that down pact, girls got a grip on her let me tell ya. I got to say the appearance was very entertaining and the people of in attendance were very very special and will do anything for ole Bern.

What was the temperature? Does he have arthritis in his hands? Had he already shaken 2,000 pairs of hands and were his about ready to fall off? Does any of that have anything to do with making good decisions or do we just want somebody with big ovaries or big balls who talks out of both sides of her or his mouth? Fuck man, give me Bernie.
Actually we almost set a record high yesterday for Dec. 23 being 61 degrees here, it should be 20. Bernie would have had a heart attack if 2000 people would have shown up for this event, i am going to go with about 200 people, and if you count people without blue or green hair w/ multiple face piercing there would be about 100 people. We were hoping the Black Lives matter element would show since that's always good for a few more laughs and fights. I really enjoy working these types of events since the food is usually top drawer, this one was horrible. He must be a Vegan or something since all the food had weird seeds and bark like substances in it. This is Chicago, not the Blue Mountains of Vermont Bern.
it could have been a trump rally, where the average supporter has an iq of 75.

and seriously, if the only things you can knock are the food and his handshake, you are really reaching.

i am going to email his campaign and tell them that they should really be screening the cops assigned to his events.

based on your posts, it seems like the police are there not to secure the event, but are hoping for a spectacle to reinforce their racism and give them an opportunity to kick someone's ass. just like the DNC riots in chicago.
Make sure to include in your email a better choice of food for the help would be much appreciated.
And Yes, it's always a spectacle and I get a front row seat to shitshows like this daily.

Man do you have any class at all ....
Not when it comes to morons and Socialists. Merry Xmas
Gotta be honest, it scares me a little bit that you're a cop (if you are one at all).
Well don't be, people (especially gang banging shitheads) are no longer afraid of the Police. Let's see how that works for the tax paying element of society in coming years.
Believe me, with talk like this, people are still very scared of the police.
I don't really feel like muskydan is a cop at all.... I just can't wrap my head around the idea of a cop saying the shit he says. It's all too indiscreet. A cop would have to be a total idiot to post stuff like he says on a public message board - i just don't buy it. Whining about the FOOD at a Bernie Sanders rally he was meant to protect???? Seems pretty fishy to me.
you'd be surprised, actually. there was a huge thing here a few years ago. Bunch of NYPD officers got into deep shit over the crap they were posting on Facebook. Here this is the first link I found, in relation to the West Indian Day Parade - but I seem to remember something similar happening with the OWS kids at Zuccotti park too http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/08/23/nypd-racist-facebook-group-punished-17-employees_n_1824774.html
Far enough, but I think muskydan also has too much time on his hands to be a cop, plus he just happens to be present for all these politically meaningful events as a cop and somehow manages to twist them to fit some pretty specific perspectives (not going to claim this theory all on my own. I had my suspicions, but others have expressed the same doubts about his claim). muskydan, feel free to prove I'm wrong. I will humbly accept being mistaken if you can prove you're actually some fucked up cop, but it will be a very disturbing and disappointing revelation.
I do find it a little peculiar that with hundreds? thousands? of Chicago police, he gets to work all the concerts, games, and political happenings that are relevant to our discussions here....then again, I don't know much about the Chicago PD.

Sorry i wasn't even really commenting on that particular person's employment - I haven't got a fucking clue lol- just that police offers can and do say surprisingly stupid shit publicly on the internet.

LOL at all the self-proclaimed feminists out there rallying for Hillary. I admit I am a former Clintonite and for years was riding the BC train. Now I am a young woman with my future in front of me and I find myself seriously thinking about what kind of world I really want to live and work in, and what kind of world I hope future generations will live in. I think about my beautiful niece who has just started kindergarten this year, especially. I cringe at the thought of the tone set by many of the presidential candidates this cycle -- one that oozes sexism, double standards, and blatant disregard for the inequalities and injustices that women, people of color, lgbt peoples, the elderly, the poor, and the dissipating middle class has been experiencing for decades as a result of mindless leadership and lack of representation.

Our most popular candidates are red-handed and no one really seems to care. Our tolerance for the language used by Donald Trump on women is unacceptable. Our tolerance for Hillary's message is, too. Her message to women everywhere is clear without having to be said out loud: Just let patriarchy happen! Embrace patriarchy! Slut shame all the women for their actions and the mistakes they've made, but never blame the man! What kind of precedent does this set for women everywhere? Hillary Clinton wants you to believe she is for equality. And sure -- part of equality is equal rights, such as equal pay, access to healthcare, access to education and so on; but should we really put someone who reinforces the boundaries and principles of patriarchy in the oval office?

Everyone should know by now that a woman's place is in the House...and the Senate! I long to see a female president, but this person needs to be strong and take a stand against the confines that keep us numb to which way the wind blows. Hillary Clinton's hypocrisy is real. Her record is not the most consistent. She has sided with Republicans for years on key issues and has made too many mistakes. All the while, she stands by her husband and clings to the name for the sake of her own legacy and success. What she should be doing -- and what a true feminist would do in my opinion -- is separating herself from the disloyal figures in her life and prove herself to be self-sufficient -- first, in her own eyes and mind; and second, in the eyes and mind of the country, specifically the women of this nation. Hillary's message reinforces the long-lived notion that a woman needs a man to be successful in some form or fashion, and to accept the flaws of men while women continue to be scrutinized and ridiculed for the most insignificant issues; some of which are beyond any woman's or human being's control. Women are put under a microscope in our society and told what they should or shouldn't look like, think about, feel, say, and so on. Women are the most regulated entity in the history of the world. I do not want these SENSELESS obstacles to be here for another second. Each second we accept our unequal position is wasted time, and another tally mark on the whiteboard of patriarchy, and all the while we are writing in Sharpie.

I know they are kind of ideologically opposite in a lot of ways, but I would love to see Sanders and Ron Paul team up and form a 3rd party ticket and break up the 2 party system.

Bernie would get my vote. However JT will do fine for Canadians. Justin and Bernie at the helm in NA would be a real opportunity for progressive change and social democracy here and the world over.

Just got an email from MoveOn.org (a group that has a lot of sway in the Democratic party) giving the results of a poll as to who MoveOn members want the organization to endorse for Democratic presidential candidate.

"It's official: MoveOn members have voted to endorse Bernie Sanders for
president. Now, with your help, we will mobilize and help him win.

After more than 340,000 ballots were cast in a four-day membership
vote, Bernie Sanders has earned our endorsement with an overwhelming 79%
of votes cast, far more than the 67% threshold required for an
endorsement. That's the best-ever performance of any presidential
    candidate in MoveOn's 17-year history.
This vote was not only decisive, but participation was broad-based,
with more ballots cast than any other endorsement vote in MoveOn's
    history."

    Nice!!

We have a Ben Carson and Donald Trump for president, hell even Hillary on the forums, but no Bernie Sanders? The man who actually cares about the people and who has a history of being in the right for the better part of 50 years. The man who walked with MLK, supported gay rights even when it wasn't popular. The man who wants to see healthcare as a right for the people & not a privilege. The man who wants to see the minimum wage become a living wage. The man who wants to re-establish Glass-Steagall, which would assure the demise of the big banks who put our country in a terrible recession. We can't have an untrustworthy Clinton, or radical tyrants like most of the GOP candidates running this country. Vote for Bernie! Let's enact real change in this country!

I am excited and hope he can do it.I have faith.USA needs a real human being who cares for people.Someone who can lead the way to common sense change. He speaks the truth.I am so discouraged at the pathological, pyschopathy that is ever present in a large percentage of people seeking the most important job in the world.Bernie is not one of them. And that is refreshing.Hopefully he will continue to gain support.Iowa and NH are looking good!Cheers.

New polls: Bernie 51%, Hillary 43%--Iowa, Bernie 60%, Hillary 33%, NH. Cut the gap to only down 9 points nationally. He wins the first two, things are going to snowball.

Sad when people get upset when tax dollars go to helping the poor but nobody minds when millions of their tax dollars are used so the military can walk out during an NFL game.

Reminds me of 1969 while working for United Airlines cleaning airplanes with hair half way down my back. One of the mechanics yelled out, "Hey, we have a hippie working here!" Another came to my defense, "He's not a hippie, he's working."

And as for those three photos, I would vote for two of the above. The other one... I saw a bumper sticker for: "Don't pull out a Dick in the middle of a screw/ vote of Nixon in 72".
