If they don't have Izzy on board it ain't a reunion.
Agree 100%.
troof. Izzy wrote most of Appetite.
Is he not on board?
For the $100m rumor im hearing im pretty sure everyone wants to be there.
Yeah, but who replaced him? What about him?
Gilby Clark. Just put something out not too long ago.
if it's just the Axl/Duff/Slash show, that's not a reunion.
Izzy has always remained friends with each of the members, including Axl, but I can't imagine after all this time he'd want to go back out on a massive tour. that's the whole reason he quit (and needing to stay away from all of their shenanigans).
I loved Appetite, Lies, and Spaghetti. The pretentious nonsense of UYI was too much. Liked a few of the more uptempo rockers.
won't bother seeing them live on this tour, if it even comes anywhere near me. saw them for UYI, and then again Axl and Friends for CD. that's enough.
I can see that. Simply sharing what/how it was reported.
I know. I wasn't commenting on your thread accuracy, just stating my opinion!

early 90s MTV rock was simply GNR, Nirvana, and PJ. The 1992 kid in me is excited by every rumor ive read this week. Even read that Axl is getting himself slim for this $hit. Which is good because he sounds like crap when hes out of breath running around the stage.
Izzy and Duff just released a song together....Maybe Cantrell was on it too...."What makes a man" or some shit (not the Trey Parker/Matt Stone Orgazmo song)
On November 24, 2006 at Cleveland's Quicken Loans Arena, Axl Rose called the Eagles of Death Metal (one of Guns N' Roses' opening acts) the "Pigeons of Shit Metal." Jesse Hughes, the Eagles of Death Metal's lead singer, told the New Musical Express that Stinson took his bass off and threw it on the floor saying "Fuck you, that's it" and threatened to leave the band.[21] Stinson did not leave Guns N' Roses; however, the Eagles of Death Metal were fired from the tour. On December 2, 2006, Stinson issued a statement reading, in part: "Eagles of Death Metal were a suggestion of mine a while ago. Turns out they were the wrong band for our crowd. They were booed and did not play for as long as they were scheduled to. ... In the past I have thrown my bass. I have never thrown it at Axl or anyone else in the band nor has anyone thrown my bass back at me... yet. Axl has been a dear friend to me for nine years. We have no problem communicating and wish that people would stay the fuck out of shit they don't know anything about."

Melodic Rock is reporting that the lineup will be Axl Rose, Slash, Duff McKagan, Richard Fortus, Frank Ferrer, and Dizzy Reed.
Well, looks like I get to save a bunch of money.

Would be cool if Axl and Slash finally came to their senses. Very possible it imploded halfway like the first Van Halen - DLR thing (but even they once again eventually came to their senses).
This would be phenomenal if it came about.
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.
I keep saying 'eh, maybe,' but who am I kidding. I'd regret not buying a ticket. G'n'R is probably one of the first, if not the first, bands I remember listening to. My dad would play them all the time, and we'd pretend to be Axl and Slash, running around the living room and chasing each other like we were on stage. I had Appetite cassette tape right along with all my Disney and Spice Girls tapes If not for me, I'd have to go for my dad.
Saw "G'n'R" in 2011 and was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. It most certainly isn't 1991 any more, but for what it was, I had a great time and left more impressed than I thought I would.

I saw this performance live online and I thought it was horrible. I was worried that Axl would sound like this the next night and I was going to be attending that show. I was blown away by how great he sounded just one day after sounding so horrible. I found out later that he had strep throat that week and that is why he sounded so bad that night. I have seen GNR 7x since 1988 and Axl has always blown me away with his vocals.
the rumors are fun. Heard a few things. One being that Axl is really in shape now. Another about headlining Coachella. And now there's a live clip of them in movie theaters playing before Star Wars
The original lineup never released an original song after Izzy left. He was the main song writer. It's not a reunion with out him. Would love to see him be part of this, if no it's not guns and roses.

I do like a lot of their early stuff & I was a fan.
The antics & in-fighting became to much...and the egos as well.
Enjoy the tour if you go.
