Great vid - I'm with you in that I prefer the UYI lineup. When I played guitar in my high school rock bands it was always Izzy I tried to emulate, haha, sad but true! In playing style I mean.

Whew! This is pretty intense! Holds up really well IMO!

Well middle aged weight gain is normal for most folks, but its a stretch to say he isnt fat. Plenty of others his age who have maintained a better shape than round

Becomes heartbreaking KNOWING that theres another way and watching someone destroy their self.

Adler? Cant say for sure. But I'd expect some shit has to be made right before any resumption of a relationship , personal or professional.

i say let Adler appear at a show or two but thats it. If they want this thing to last an entire tour the vibe needs to be as good as possible. Let Axl have his drummer. He already knows the entire catalog front and back and it keeps one of the divas happy

I couldn't care less about Adler personally. I just wish Izzy was in on it. I'm sure he'll make an appearance or two, like he has over the years.

Same here, take or leave Adler but Izzy's rhythm guitar HAS to be there. I've seen parts of that rehab show that he was on and Adler seems like even more of a wreck than Axl if possible.

As for Coachella, apart from them and Gary Clark Jr., to hell with most of the ones I've heard of. Coachella have become top 40 EDM VH1 sellouts the past few years.

I'm really really hoping to make a show...GnR mean a lot to me personally. The first band I can ever remember listening to, and some of my first memories ever! My dad would blast Appetite in the car all the time, we'd pretend to be Axl and Slash in our living room....it was the very start of my love of music!

So I really hope this reunion sticks, everything works out, they sound good, and it's well received...which is a lot to ask, but here's to hoping. The "Axl N Friends" show I saw in 2011 was actually a way better show than I could have ever anticipated--so that gives me some hope!
