Looking (begging) to buy a GA ticket for Ft Lauderdale! A big group of friends and I are planning to camp out over night in line. If you sell me your extra ticket, I will save a spot in line for you. Help me, help you!

I'm not sure if they let you sleep out there. They tend to lock the gates around the arena.

How can we know the arena policy about camping out?
I guess you can google it? My parents live 10 minutes away and Sawgrass Mall is across the street. I just know when I go to the mall the arena gates tend to be locked.

Try to drive or park & walk through the Wynwood Arts District. Incredible murals and street art.
Bars and restaurants (not cheap, tho). I recommend that visitors go during daylight hours.

Anytime I have rented in Florida, which is the last 6years, all I had to show them was my driver's licence from Ontario with no issues. They of course try to upsell you on all the additional stuff like insurance. But my insurance broker tells me I'm covered, so I always decline. But I don't know what kind of insurance you have, so I suggest you check with your broker and not go solely on my advise for the insurance. Hope that helps

Someone may be able to give you better advice than me because I have not been to Miami in ages, but if you are looking for clubs, just go to South Beach. If you see the Cameo, that's where PJ first played South Florida. It's an old theatre where tons of legendary bands have played. Churchill's hideaway was another club I remembered from back in the day. No clue what's there today as clubs open and close all the time.

But... chances are you will find something on South Beach.

If I wasn't already planning a family vacation this summer, I would have been all over taking a week's vacation in Florida & seeing all four shows.

I can't complain as I'm seeing both Philly & Fenway shows, but a 4 show Florida state road trip would have been fun.

The seniority aspect isn't lost on me either..... Up in the northeast, my membership only gets me mediocre seats, but when I went to Montreal & Denver, it got me much better seats. I was thinking the FL shows would be similar. Wasn't meant to be though......

Congrats to the 10c members who call Florida home, I know you've been waiting a long time for these shows.

You don't need an international driver's permit as a Canadian to rent a vehicle in the US. You mentioned Enterprise, they are one of more expensive companies. Try to stick with the major companies - I suggest looking into rates from either Budget or Alamo. Check with your credit card provider to see what type of coverage they offer when paying for the rental in full on the card (you can phone and the agent will explain it to you if you're unsure). Be sure to ask if it's primary or secondary coverage though.

Not exactly a secret but I scored a Mid Size SUV on Priceline out of Fort Lauderdale for $17 a day for 3 days with fees= $90.99. You can do better with a compact.

For some reason this is where I thought the preparty was going to be at. I swear it was up for discussion at the very least. Maybe I'm confusing it with another place.

Thanks a lot, I was shopping around - I managed to obtain a four day compact rental for 100.46 CDN from Enterprise... it was still roughly 16$ cheaper than other major companies and a few bucks more than the likes of Dollar and Fox. I have coverage from BMO which would only cover the rentail car itself, but I had to inquire with my current car insurance provider as well

    thanks alot eh

Wishlist party in Ft Lauderdale is across from the Arena at the mall. It's a billiards place. Forgot the name.

    Miami is at Hard Rock

Rock N Ribs Nicko McBrain's place from Iron Maiden is closer to the Ft Lauderdale show and has great food. Up the Irons!!!

I need to check out Rock N Ribs. Sounds like a fun place.
We're thinking of hitting up this place as well
For some reason this is where I thought the preparty was going to be at. I swear it was up for discussion at the very least. Maybe I'm confusing it with another place.
We should have a pre-preparty at Rock N Ribs, I will have to check this place out too.

Seeing Maiden next week at MSG. it's going to be awesome.

Now that's fucking awesome! If they ever did a cover of Maiden i would probably lose my shit right there.

I've seen Maiden so many times at the Garden going back to the Somewhere In Time tour and the only experience I've enjoyed more then them is Pearl Jam. I get to see them both a few weeks apart and I get giddy thinking about it. Ha!
