We have more to worry about with border security (guns) than the US does.Opportunity to make a whopping $7.25 an hour. That is SOME opportunity!Average salary, per capita gdp, employment rates, economic growth, investment, all substantially better in the US. And that’s with historically beneficial trade terms for Canada. Clean up the northern border, and we’ll be good.Certainly more credible than the American fist pumping “greatest country on earth” based on nothing but neanderthalic patriotism.Hugh Freaking Dillon is currently out of the office, returning sometime in the fall0 -

And comments like yours above normalize the idea of it.So, all replies to my comment contain misinformation. Nice look, guys. I was responding to an attack against Americans. Yes trump is a jerk, but there is no reason to attack the rest of us. And even admitted by your government your country has not kept its part of the bargain. Next reply contains documentation.0 -
HughFreakingDillon said:The northern border never needed further securing until that idiot made it up. You fell for it. Congratulations. You are living in fantasy land. Are you even aware what the biggest risk is at that border? Don’t even need to discuss the future of year round arctic shipping with china. Are you aware that it can not be protected by line of sight satellites? Can not be protected by most of the US Navy ships? Are you aware that Russia is dominating recent defense logistics, in the arctic?
have y’all for even a second, considered what Greenland and your country have in common? Or is it just easier to blame the evil orange man?0 -

The man is attacking my sovereignty and freedom, upending a world order that has kept us from world war, crashing economies of allies and your own, jailing lawful protesters, dismantling all you're democratic institutions....the list is endless. All in a matter of weeks.
That's normalizing language.
You're delusional.0 -

I don't give a fuck what we have in common with Greenland. I live in a free and sovereign country. I'm not interested in yours and Trump's excuses to try and take that away.
You are siding with imperialist fascists, great look.
And we're the dicks for not being "polite".0 -

Y’all cursing out all Americans and wondering why there isn’t any pushback from Americans on an American website of an American band.As bad as y’all have it (and there is little chance he annexes your country) wonder what life would be like if some in your family friends and coworkers were in his cult. Y’all have it easy comparatively.0

Trump has increased the aluminum and steel tariff to 50% in retaliation of Ontario’s electricity tax of 25%. The trade war is officially on.Remember when since banned posters on here told Canadians to stay in their lane when discussing the US election results. This is one example of why there was concern about voting in this piece of shit.0

I am posting here primarily due to America and American bashing. If y’all feel the need to do that on an American website, that is plainly wrong, but it is your right. As it is mine to protest. Perhaps a Canadian website is the best location for that. Perhaps a forum not viewable to Americans would be best for that. As long as I, as an American, am getting attacked, I should have the right to reply
We are not all trump, and he does not have to be 100% wrong to consider the continent security risks he is raising.0 -

We are not all trump, and he does not have to be 100% wrong to consider the continent security risks he is raising. The sad part is the electricity tariff from Ontario will cost 400K per day. That’s peanuts and the clown comes back with a bazooka is response to us coming back with a BB gun. David Rosenberg said it best, when a bully punches you in the face, you don’t punch them back, you go burn their house down. If it escalates, oil should be turned off, potash, nickel, uranium shipments all stop.0 -

I think our federal govt needs to look at revoking all US shipping wavers that allow them to freely go up and down the west coast, to and from Alaska using the safety of the inside passage. Revoking them entirely or begin charging $$ for the use of our waters. Maybe even force them to have to use our Pilots and charge a premium.2011: Vancouver

74 million people voted for it. He’s been whining about other countries not paying their fair share for years. This is not a post-election surprise. They voted for this.Hugh Freaking Dillon is currently out of the office, returning sometime in the fall0
