    certainly is :)
Holy moly. Which category is that going into? lol
Oh that's one of a handful of items being kept, just part of the photos sent to me highlighting the vinyl shelves

The bad radio cassettes are being retained also
So cool - don't blame him for keeping that stuff.

Are the totals in the spreadsheet what would be asked for each category? Some of the values seem fair bit off.

Pretty much, all values are based on what we believe to be market values at the time the pricing exercise was conducted. the two of us separately costed out the values and then compared after a few weeks of market research, reference to old saved notes on the very seldom seen stuff, and some discussion with fellow collectors. The figures compared were remarkably close, however on the few occasions there was daylight between two figures we took a middling value......

I believe that the prices on offer are on the low side overall. Please note the figures only represent what we believe to be the current value, im sure there is a deal to be done for anyone with firm interest

Ok thanks. I'm sure it must have taken a lot of time to go through everything. I'd be interested in some of the lots if a deal can be made.
    Cheers

Paul how many pm's do you get a day & IS THERE GOING TO BE JUST A EV SECTION?

That's possible, or if anyone comes forward the ev stuff could be factored in to a deal

Please note though, there are no promotional items in the lot like Jack D bottles, basketball hoops, or vodka bottles etc, this is a purely musical lot, as shown In the photos and the spreadsheet

  • Who wants to break up the CDs and promos?!?

There's a bunch of them and it's expensive so maybe we can all pitch in and do a draft style lottery for it.

Same goes for the records too. We can do one for that also.

The owner wants to sell in bulk so if we wave a couple thousands in his face I/we can maybe finally own some rare things I've been looking for.

PM me and let's SERIOUSLY START TALKING!!!

Little update on the Vinyl section: -

Here are the records that are still sealed: -

Ten 125gram simply vinyl Ltd Edition
    Ten dutch press
Live on two legs USA press
    Riot Act USA
    Lost Dogs
    Benny
    RVM
    Avocado
    Backspacer EU version
    Live on ten legs
ten legacy EU AND USA Version
Vs Legacy EU AND USA version
Vitalogy Legacy EU AND USA version
    Vault 3 AND 4
    Cole Bottle ten
    PJ 20
    GITD PJ20
    and
    Coloured PJ20

the following records are still in shrink wrap but opened on one side
    Vitalogy EU press
    No Code USA press
    Ten 160gram simply vinyl
Lightning Bolt Red - Both original and replacement versions

I have had it confirmed that virtually all the vinyl is in mint condition and never once been played in this owners hands

Last few days to snatch the lot, before Monday sees us break this down.

Intention is to create two Vinyl lots, all the records USA pressed, and all the records EU pressed. The EU section will obviously be missing the Avo, lost dogs, RVM and Pj20

So it will look a little like this

    USA $3430
    ten
    Vs
    Vitalogy
    No code
    Yield
    L02l
    Binaural
    Riot act
    Backspacer
    Backspacer white
    Lightning bolt Black
    Lightning bolt red
    Lightning bolt red replacement
    Pj20
    Lost dogs
    RVM
    Avocado
    Ten legacy edition
    Ten coke bottle edition
    Vs Legacy edition
    Vitalogy Legacy edition
    Drop in the Park

    European pressed $1280

    ten
    Vs
    Vitalogy
    No code
    Yield
    L02l
    Binaural
    Riot act
    Backspacer
    Lightning bolt Black
    Ten legacy edition
    Vs Legacy edition
    Vitalogy Legacy edition

Plus various bolt ons that can be bought as an additional package of the various other country presses of each record: -

so ten $975 - Spain Greece Simply Vinyl x 4 (125, 160 and 180 x2), korea, brazil, basketball picture disc, Holland reissue, Brazilian PDK
Vs $200 - spain brazil Colombia korea
    Vitalogy $70 - Brazil

Plus one off Items like to be added to a custom package or purchased separately.
    Benny $1200
    GITD $2000
    Coloured Pj20 $750

etc etc, I would propose that in keeping a usa category and European category we almost create two full sets, and the rest can be treated as bolt ons. Nothing sells until everything sells scenario.

I figure we will start with vinyl so added this as a bit of advance information
  • I'm in for the CD singles and promos. All except the two REALLLy expensive ones.

Do prices include shipping? Interested in vinyl but prices are high ie colored PJ20 goes for under $500 last gitd went for best offer under $1499 minus 10% fees.

Shipping is extra but will be charged at cost. Certain items may have room for a little negotiation but that's a decision I can not make

The last glow in the dark wasn't a stamped copy right? The records had no labels and it was assumed to be a test press version which has a lower value ?

I've seen the coloured set sell for a variety of prices , don't recall sub $500 mind but it's possible after the mystery vinyl dumped a bunch of them into the market. Like the Benny value momentarily took a hit after the pop up shops, after a short time however prices were back stronger than ever. I'm not comparing this to a Benny - it's rarer of course but the black version means the availability of it on vinyl is no doubt more but as a collectors item this is a hot one - limited to 500 and still sealed with the cover sticker. I don't think $750 is wild to be honest. Strikes me as a fair price given one hasn't sold for a while as far as I know. That supply to the market did without doubt create a bump in the road though

Don't get me wrong these are very unique items and as such not easy to value accurately. I've sold a number of gitd's this last three years for a contact in the industry and they have never struggled to sell over $2k, I know one member here paid $3000 to acquire his and took a slight hit when off loading but still achieved $2500 if memory serves me right

Yea it is hard with a fluctuating market, but the gitd was stamped, purple and there was a colored that sold for $400 retail sealed but with 4inch split, and one for $485 yesterday and one $511 before that.

Interested in looking at this spreadsheet because I'd definitely buy something, but not going to create a profile on some random web page I've never heard of. Sounds creepy. Is there a way to see it without doing that?
