Do we really think we are getting a spring tour announcement this early? Is that just a guess?

I've got a funny feeling... just when they get predictable... they switch it up and announce a large PJ25 North American tour with plenty of notice... and plenty of time for them to sell tix in non-hotspots...

    10/10 is coming...

    Here's how this thread reads:

"I wonder if there will be a tour next year."
    "You do?"
    "I do!"
    "Where will it be?"
    "Where won't it be?"
    "I'm excited!"
    "Me too!"

"I'll bet tickets go on sale Saturday..."

I hope someone on here is right, of course, but that possibility aside, this thread is entertaining to read.

Wonder if you got shut out of tickets on the last US tour if you'll have precedence for the next. I'm guessing no :bawling:

I met Jeff last week in MT...

Not that he is telling the truth, but it sounded like there wasn't too much on the horizon for PJ. I'm thinking side projects. Maybe a small PJ tour.

would love to know why the MSG is presumed as a lock.

They haven't played there since 2010 right? I presume theres a reason for that - one of which being the venue is allegedly one of the most expensive for a band to play

Barclay's & Brooklyn are all the rage so they played that in 2013, which made sense... I am personally glad they don't play msg every 2 years, keeps it new and exciting for me... if they do play msg, I hope they negotiate for A LOT of 10c tix like 2003 because that lottery will be really tough either way

That's the point of the thread, to try and gather any rumors into one place and have fun

Seems perfectly reasonable for a rock bands message board to me lol

Based on the August dates, this is about 2 months old and this is just surfacing now. I'm suspicious.

Who says its a lock? People with supposedly reliable sources have said that two dates have been put on hold. The dates make sense and the timing makes sense so I think that's why people are willing to believe it's true. But no lock for sure until its announced by the 10 club.

I'm so stuck on my Randalls Island idea...2 or 3 nights in a venue where they can sell a shit load of tickets. People can go early and get up front if they so desire or they can relax on the lawn. It would satisfy the demand in this area with no bitching about getting shut out of a ticket or where your 10 club seats where. So fucking simple it's ridiculous! The renovation really make it a great place.

I like that idea! Does the renovated stadium host concerts?
Phish did three nights and we were going to just do one but we liked the place so much we went the next night too. It's outside in a huge field. Much nicer than it used to be and the stage is not in the same place as it was in 1996. It's a great place.
i think pj will draw 3+ times the 10k phish drew, which kind of loses its luster a little - especially if it rains
