Well, given all this buzz will book my rooms tonight. Any suggestions for hotels in Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa? I've never been to a concert there and don't know what the likely venues will be.

I assumed the Air Canada Centre in Toronto and grabbed a room off Expedia from the Strathcona Hotel. Free cancellation and don't have to pay until check-out.

If you can cancel the reservation for free... what's the harm? Honestly?

PAYING for anything at this point would be extra super dumb. But a reservation? That can be canceled with no fee?

Sounds like a smart move to me.

Currently the closest place to the Canadian Tire Center are the Country Inn Suites and Holiday Inn & Suites. Both are walking distance with the Holiday Inn being a bit further but next to many restaurant/bar options. Live in the Ottawa area, so if you want other options left me know, but those would be the best choices for close to the venue.

I booked the Marriott near the Bell Center for Montreal.

  • I went through the Hilton site. I could've went cheaper, but it would've been nonrefundable. $119 is a great price. I'm just happy to be in the building :)

I'm definitely up for beers with all you beautiful people!

don't worry about it... toronto is the worst place on earth... you don't want to go there (ever)... .or make plans about a fictional date that will never Happen.

I can't stress how terrible Toronto is.... philly and NYC are so much better, and you don't even need a passport! why spend the extra money?

Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

Why do many people say that Toronto sucks?

Because they don't want other people trying to get tix!!! I think they're joking.

With that being said, Toronto sux so no one try for tix...

    Hahahahahaha exactly

    Are you serious?
You are saying this, from HOUSTON?!!!

As much as I dislike Toronto, Houston is the WORST city by a long stretch that I've ever visited...I'd visit Ulaanbaatar again before going back to Houston...we have a direct flight from Vancouver BC (best city on earth) and I won't be back there for even PJ!

    Seriously...

I do, however, agree with your comment regarding how great NYC is (visited for the first time for Global Citizen...amazing city!)
And also how bad the leafs suck!

This is awesome! Today my 4yo daughter asked if Eddie and the boys could come play a show for us. She wants to sing and dance with them. I promised to take her to the next tour in our area. She told me to "text Eddie" and see when he can make it happen. She's the type who forgets nothing! Can't wait for my sweetie's first concert!!
