    Since no PJ25 (I guess...waiting until May to finally cave on that) So now I'm ISO a pair for Fenway Friday night.

    PJ25 is not looking good, but there may be more shows. The fall 2013 tour was announced July 8, so you never know when they may drop some dates.

    Pemberton Music Fest lineup comes out Tuesday March 29th.

    Pearl Jam is free this weekend, maybe a last chance for some west coast summer tour dates could coincide...if we are so luck. Chris Cornell has a spot open in his tour and is in the area... Can you say Temple Of The Dog set?

    I wouldn't think they would call Blink 182 headliners. There will be 3 main acts for Pemby, and with Squamish not having their festival this year, Pemberton should be bigger.

    I asked my source: "Was the Metallica show at US Bank stadium on August 20 the PJ rumor? Or is PJ at Target Field a separate remaining possibility? I'm not sure how the two rumors got caught up but I wanted to make sure they weren't the same one."

    His reply: "Not the same."

    The previously provided info was that the Twins were discussing a date with PJ in August for Target Field.

    As a Twins/PJ fan, I definitely want this to be true, but I'm still skeptical, UNLESS there are other shows to be announced. If there are more shows coming, even a few more stadiums, then I could see the TC getting a special date at the field of Ed's American League team (sorry Seattle). If there are not more dates coming, it would seem strange to do Wrigley/Fenway and then randomly Target Field.

    Take it for what it's worth. It's what I got and it's a rumor until it's not.

    Is your source that dj in dubuque on twitter? Cause he's claiming that pj at us bank stadium is still happening.

    All of these April 1st announcements leave me skeptical.
    I've considered both bands to be my favourite at at least one point in my lifetime but I think we all can agree that Pearl Jam has very little to gain by playing with GNR.

    Soundgarden, the Smashing Pumpkins, and Alice in Chains all have opened for GnR.

    I love the start time, " Some time after 11pm." So that would probably mean the show will start after midnight which would make it April 2.

    In all seriousness... And not to get into the why would they do this... Mike and Duff are clearly friendly. ...There was one or two people posting the past few months in this thread that PJ would open for GNR. The opening act was not announced for GNR today. Does anyone have any information as to whether it's legit or completely false, and if legit, which show(s)?

    From what have seen and read over the years, Duff seems like a pretty decent individual (for a rock star, anyway). So does Slash (again, aside from the drugs and womanizing).

    calling PJ an opening band literally just made me cringe. Unless its a festival where every big act plays 8-10 songs, NO!
