Honestly other than in this thread a couple other threads I haven't seen any indication of them playing a PJ25 destination event. I think it's extremely wishful thinking especially after 2 Fenway and 2 Wrigley concerts. I can see something happening on the west coast later in the year, but a singular venue event I can't see. Plus, if you lived on the West Coast what would you rather have - a run of arena shows or a single weekend/multi-day event? Certainly pros and cons to both, but I think you take the quantity over a single event, even if it would be great like PJ20 was. Positive there are those who disagree with me on that one though.

they are playing 17 shows in the eastern time zone, plus Bonnaroo, and sold out both Fenway shows in 20 minutes... and an hour later sold out Wrigley in 20 minutes... so I think people will take both an arena run and a large event, especially if they are spaced 2 months apart...
I guess people don't think the western USA deserves a large destination event to cap off the stadium events?
ps... how do we know the Seattle event wont be free? Magnusson park has been rumored as an option, and Drop In The Park was a free show, and that was 20+ years ago.... just food for thought
yeah, cuz pearl jam has a history of loving las vegas. time to wake up and realize the ENTIRE ¥ear is PJ25. How is that not obvious? the destination scenario was tried and not that spectacular.
Until they do not announce a PJ25 show/shows by Sept I'm a hold out on a destination / or major PJ25 show "event". Where? IDK, When IDK. but I'm holding on nonetheless.
Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!
I could care less whether its free or $200, just please play the Gorge!!!

2009-8-17 Manchester, 9-25 Vancouver
2011-6-16 Seattle (EV), 9-3/4 PJ20, 9-25 Vancouver
2012-6-27 Amsterdam (#2!)
2013-11-29 Portland, 12-4 Vancouver, 12-6 Seattle
2014-AUS - 1-26 Sydney, 1-31 Adelaide, 2-11/12 EV Sydney State Theatre, 2-13 EV Opera House
2014 - USA - Memphis, Detroit, MOLINE, St. Paul, MILWAUKEE, Denver, 25/26 Bridge School
2016 - Lexington, Philly x 2, MSG x 2, Quebec City, Ottawa, Toronto x 2, Pemberton, Fenway x 2, Wrigley x 2 2018 - Seattle x 2, Missoula, Fenway x 2
And I may be in the minority as a west coaster, but i'd rather see a destination type PJ25 at the Gorge or Seattle as opposed to several shows spread out.

May. If we don't hear about it by the end of May then I don't think it's happening in the fall.

Agreed. I'm guessing with the latest festival headliner announcement they'll be trickling out dates towards the west coast. Maybe even have a festival announcement out there along with a more proper tour leg.
Gorge isn't a logistical nightmare for people like myself who live in the Pacific Northwest. I go to shows there regularly. I think they could get 20K there with 2 weeks notice.

Telluride is a logistical nightmare. I've been there before 2. One road in and out. Not near any type of airport connection, still a haul from Grand Junction. That's more of a nightmare than the Gorge, which is an easy drive from Vancouver, Seattle, and Portland.

IF The Gorge is on 7/2 & 7/3... Ride is 7/9... Boise & Salt Lake City are on the direct route between the two locations... logistically that makes a lot of sense... that is IF the gorge is on July 4th weekend of course...
which takes me back to 4 shows in 5 days @ Red Rocks... factoring in the info about WSP playing the last weekend of June that would actually fit perfectly right now on 6/19-6/23...

I think 4 shows is wishful thinking. I realize the capacity is smallish but numbers wise playing 2 shows at red rocks would be the equivalent of 1 show at the arena which they just played 16 months ago. I'd say odds are they do 2 shows. I realize demand would be greater simply cause of the venue but with your thought process then they should probably be playing 4 shows at MSG as well. I'm sticking with my Gorge July 2-3 and Red Rocks July 6-7 theory.

DMB is at Alpine on 7/1 & 7/2, our first trip there, have a room at the resort, pit tickets for both nights, flights booked. About the only thing that would make cancel that trip is PJ at the Gorge the same weekend...it would be a tough decision
