I get a kick out of the spoiled northeast people complaining about how far of a drive it is to shows (really, I'm just jealous). A close show for me is usually a 7 hour drive or two hour flight.
I wouldn't say people are complaining but as a West Coaster I do find it mildly entertaining that someone would split up a 9 hour drive over 2 days. That's definitely a 1 day'er for me. I think anything under 12 hours is a 1 day'er for me. I've even done longer. We had to split the drive from Edmonton to the Gorge on the way there (due to leaving after work) but we did the trip back in a single day. I think that was around 15 hours. That's adults though. If your bringing kids a 9 hour trip would be grueling
Well... call us even for all the posts we have to read from the people complaining that the band never plays in their area
Can I complain I get shows in my area but I can't get a 10 club ticket lol...1 out of 8 last time around. I'm not as worried b/c TM always has some decent ticket drops. I've gone from I can't wait to see where my seat is to I hope I get in the building.
Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!
I remember reading an interview with Jeff a few months back where he said he wanted to revisit some of the old venues the band hasn't played in a while and red rocks was one of them. How many nights would they have to play? I'd say at least 3

I've seen Pearl Jam the spring one time. It was Jazz Fest in 2010 and we got engaged the day before. Great show, festival or not. It'd be cool to catch another one somewhere.
...crap...I'm getting swept up in this!

Red Rocks: 4 shows in 5 days like Philly 09 would be the best way to do it I think... it only holds 10,000 I think and every 10c member on the planet would be trying for tix
If they play a place where my pathetic collection of airmiles can get me, I just might consider going there... which means it won't be a major market like NYC or TO, unfortunately. I would love to see them in NYC, but $$$$$$$$$$$$.

I think we will get an announcement before nov 10. I feel the pj/10c engine starting up again. Everybody's attention will be turned back to pj around the time of the Latin American tour. Perfect time to announce.
Lord we're going to have to listen to that mean Girl later today.

Interesting that Nashville is on the list this time. I suspect that after watching all the money go down the street to Memphis, Bridgestone Arena changed it's tune. Little birdy told me there was an issue on financials back in the fall and PJ moved along.
Either way, I hope the list is legit and we get some shows.... somewhere.
if they ever play the gorge I will shit my pantaloons. and then again when I don't get tickets.
Definitely...there HAS to be a Gorge show at some point. 2016 is the perfect time!

A little more analysis and factoid on the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale situation... it is the 8th largest metro area in the US with 6 million residents
The band/crew/families only need to stay in 1 hotel for both shows so there is essentially zero travel expense in between locations... and if you are going to take everything down there you might as well make it financially lucrative with 2 shows
Plus Eddie loves the ocean, and we all know that's enough excuse for them to plan a tour around lol
Unrelated side note... still not sure how they didn't play Oceans in Atlantic City

As I am sure it has been commented on, you gotta think the list we have is holds. Just can't see them playing 4 in FLA and 3 in the Carolinas. I hope they do.
