If there will be a second leg or a destination show, is it likely that they will announce that before the first leg onsales? I'm just wondering because when Wrigley was announced they also mentioned that there would be fall dates and I'm guessing they did that so people didn't feel like they had to spend tons of money to fly in from all over. With Wrigley that wouldn't have mattered because folks were going to that regardless of distance, but if Texas is going to get a show on leg two, some of those folks won't have to travel to Florida, Tenn, etc. Anyhow, it's all still unofficial but just wondering.
I agree...if there is a fall leg or a PJ25 destination weekend in Seattle as rumored, then I hope they at least hint towards such when they announce these Springs shows. I probably would have to choose one leg or another and it would be nice to have some information out there prior to making a financial and time commitment. Granted this is a good problem to have!
I don't mean to be the voice of reason but just because they did a "PJ20" event doesn't mean they will do another in the form of "PJ25" or 26 or 28 or 30 or 35.
If they tour every year for the next 25 I am sure that PJ fans wil ascribe a year number to every tour and/or gig even if PJ never does again.
nor trying to be a dick, but people really are upset that dates have leaked? it's a rock band tour leg, who gives a shit? seems silly to me
agreed.
My other question being: all those who are "irked" about someone leaking dates... did y'all already know the potential dates/tour plan? Cause if you had inside information already, you have no right to say shit all one way or the other...
From a fan perspective, there's no real advantage to knowing in advance. From a band / management perspective, there's no disadvantage to knowing in advance.

I'm just saying it's been rumored, not that I believe it's necessary. Although I would love if they did another weekend type similar in nature to PJ20.
about the Ft Lauderdale/Miami shows being so close together... if you haven't played South Florida in 15-20 years why not play 2 shows down there?
They play other cities 2x nights in a row... A huge city like Miami, playing both FTL and MIA gives them a chance to essentially play the same market 2 nights but with maybe a slightly different crowd/environment

It seems odd given that they are only about 40 miles apart, but that certainly isn't unprecedented. They have twice played Toronto and Hamilton on the same tour and one of those had 2 Toronto shows.

Really not common for down here.Dont see the logistic benefit. It would be a more likely move to see a Tampa then Orlando. Both close but much more seperated than FTL and MIA.

Totally agree! We must know if some drivable dates are coming in the Fall!
Election year and no show in the DC area? Smells like bullshit.

If the cubbies win it all I can't envision a scenario where they don't play Wrigley or Chicago around Opening Day.
You can't envision a scenario where they don't play Wrigley, an outdoor venue in Chicago, in mid-late March?

For all you fine folks who are saying they are going to 5-10 shows... I truly hope the ticket lottery treats you well. I have friends of mine, who have been shut out over the last few years, for EVERY single show they have attempted to purchase tickets for.

Well... People have been following the band on tour long before you could get fan club tickets to multiple shows. Going back to 2000 when you could only get one pair of ten club tickets for the entire tour, I was still able to see 8 shows. I used my ten club tickets for one show and ticketmaster for the other 7. It sucks to be shut out in the lottery but there are other ways to get tickets.

Does anyone else not find it terribly depressing that those who are lucky in a sense to have people who trust them with this information in advance can't hold their own piss?
Rumours are cool but when solid information is leaked that wasn't meant to be, that is really poor form. Is it really so important to have people know that you knew first? What the fuck is that all about?
Maybe it's just me, but if the tour was ready for announcing I'm sure it would be announced. But here they are - the dates being posted here on the bands site which are clearly leaked confidential information which wasn't intended for public access yet. All because some folk can't control themselves
Paul there are days now at facebook the dates...people calling to arenas now and ask when pj tic go on sale and answer is,we wait for announcemnet!!...producer talks, people work at venues talk,,people have friends and fsmily at music intustry...with internet u cant hide anything anymore!!.. I had 4 pm at official page cos im admin and they asking me ,can i post the dates,?,,i have them.. I answer to all, lets 10c do it..but u cant control things anymore..internet makes the news run so fast..the last tour i rememebr was "secret"was euro 2009..was weekend when they announce them and same time they put tickets for sale here!!no one knew and someone post..hey there are ticket for europe shows for sale at goods section!!
If you have information then it should be shared. If you have info and you don't share it then you shouldn't have it in the first place, right?!?
I'm thankful to all who "know something" and posted because I don't know the secret handshake yet...

Hey, I went to 8 shows in 2014 and only got reserved tickets to Memphis.

I'm totally expecting to be F5ing on Ticketmaster's website as given the cities I will try for, I will be very happy to get 1 pair from 10C.

Hopefully they just felt we should get two shows but the sports teams killed both options for a back to back so MIA and FTL it is!
