I can't decide which would be better: Fenway or an arena show in a city I ve never been. I can't imagine the sound being that good in Fenway.SVRDhand13 said:

More than the sound I think Fenway would be all about the experience and that I believe they would go all out setlist wise.
There is nothing like using PJ as an excuse to visit a city you never have before. Sightseeing during the day, knowing what is coming that night. St Louis was awesome for that last year.
PJ25...HELL YES!!! Can't wait to find out what they have planned.___________________________________________

yeah the experience would be cool I guess. But i'd rather see a baseball game at possibly the greatest stadium in mlb than a concert. pj 25 would be awesome....gorge...alpine valley...somewhere cool.SVRDhand13 said:

JimmyV, I do believe the set and experience would be cool, damn I'm now so confused lol. Ok maybe it would be pretty cool to see pj at fenway.
And I agree, St. Louis was awesome last year! The arch, cool ass bars, baked ravioli!I'll ride the wave where it takes me......0 -
If they play Fenway I'm there. Heard pj 20 wasent all it was cracked up to be anyway. I skipped it in 2011 and went to Toronto and seen 2 killer shows. So pj 25 I'll prob be out too and I'll hit all local spots near me and 1 cool place hoping they play two shows at.
Did hear the atmosphere and fan club really went all out for the pj20 show wish I woulda went for that.0 -
Anyone thinking JA was going to give details or confirm anything yesterday had their sights set a little too high IMO. As much as I would like to see Ten Commandos, RNDM or EV solo, I'm glad he didn't announce that PJ was taking a break to work on other projects. I'll take that a as a win.
Re: Fenway, I was shocked at how good Foo sounded there in July. I hadn't seen a Fenway show since Bruce in '01. Based on the Foo experience, I would love seeing PJ there. I would love an arena show too, I'll take anything I can get close to home.
I'm not sure if I could fit a PJ20 like weekend into my travel plans / budget, so I'm hoping for the rumored Philly & NYC dates in late April / early May to be legit. That's an easy road trip for me. (Although tickets will be a shit show)
I'm hoping to keep my streak alive (6 straight years seeing PJ, & last 7 of 8) but if I don't..... Whatever, see you in '17.0 -
I just hope we get some Euro shows in 2016..Seeing them in Europe is on my bucket list and would be amazing if the opportunity arises while I live here for a few more years.I wish I was an alien at home behind the sun.....
I wanna race..with the sundown..I want a last breath..I don't let out...0 -
Feels like spring tour as rumored or similar to, and then a series of a few PJ25 shows/events later in the summer at a few ballparks (2 shows each at Wrigley, Fenway, maybe a couple others to balance out geographically)0

Can someone post the specific quote that is causing people to believe a PJ20-esque "destination weekend" is happening? The seems to be one of the takeaways people have and I guess I haven't read the entire chat.1998-06-30 Minneapolis

@PearlJam anything in the works around PJ25 / 25 years of ten? #PJLiveChatvant0037 said:Can someone post the specific quote that is causing people to believe a PJ20-esque "destination weekend" is happening? The seems to be one of the takeaways people have and I guess I haven't read the entire chat.

What do you guys think the odds are that PJ is one of the headliners for the Kaaboo festival in 2016? Kaaboo clearly focuses on the 30-50 demographic, it's in mid-September right around the time PJ is rumored to be hitting the West Coast. It's in San Diego, Jack Johnson already announced as one of the headliners, seems like an easy festival pickup for the band, I'd put the likelihood at 60%-70%, thoughts?0

Yeah, not a lot of detail there.3days said:

My hunch is that it won't be a destination weekend. Feels like they've been there and done that.___________________________________________

I was content with what was said. Confirmed tour dates announced early 2016, said "sure" when someone asked about a New England/Boston return, and said something is in works for PJ25. Pretty awesome to me!
Also, my favorite part was the question "will all PJ vinyl be available in future" and Jeff answered "yes"2010: Cleveland

The confirmation that tour dates would be announced early next year is great.
Honestly, I think it was just poor timing. They had to know with all the crap going on that everyone was just going to ask for specifics about tour dates. If they just made a statement about an announcement early next year, and then held this after the announcement, the questions would have been better and it would have been a lot more interesting as a whole.
Still cool to do and I appreciate the info that was given.hippiemom = goodness0 -

PJ20 was amazing. Not sure who told you it wasn't that great. Fantastic opening bands, long PJ sets with guest appearances, Temple of the Dog reunion. Other then the rain it was pretty incredible. I went to both Toronto show right after and without a doubt PJ20 was the better 2-day event.pawlowski1097 said:If they play Fenway I'm there. Heard pj 20 wasent all it was cracked up to be anyway.
